yes and it works well for us, dont use it all of the time but when needed it does the job. Not everyone will say that though and plenty have issues with it.

Think this is expensive, as above if you have prime then thats the way to go.

this one is good as well, ifs often less than £6

I have the TP-LINK RE220 AC750 Universal Dual Band Range Extender, it's very good. I think I'd pay the extra at £23.50 over this one for the price difference.

Good effort though. Sharing is caring 😃

I just returned mine. Was useless. Was on plusnet and the signal was not too bad. Switched to highspeed Virgin and their intelligent router and the signal is bad upstairs. Tried this extender and that made no change.

had mine upstairs for 2 years now with virgin router downstairs. No problems

Piece of crap, I wasted £15 on this and it made no difference whatever on my Virgin setup. A switch to modem mode on the virgin router and a new D-link router...problem solved

I bought this last week and have it installed on a Vodafone router. It does hat it says n the tin regarding extending the signal but you don’t half pay for it with speed tests consistently hitting 4-6 meg per second versus the Voda router. Overall, it appears to work.
In the flat I was in it was pretty useless, ended up using power line extenders with WiFi, so much better

I got it same price without prime just waiting for delivery now.
Powerline adapters are the way to go. They are amazing. Have hooked mine up with my Xbox and it has transformed the internet on my console. Would get about 6-12Mbps (regular drop outs) without the adapters as the Hub is 2 floors down on the opposite side of the house so I decided to buy some powerline adapters, and now I get 90mbps with 45/50ms latency consistently and I get no drop outs whatsoever. Have had them for a couple of years and they have been solid. Very reliable, watching YouTube videos in 4K is a breeze and online gaming is not a problem too. Would highly recommend them

You are so right - i should have got that one instead but i only realised after it arrived. I am not however going to burn a return for something so cheap.
I got one of these at the weekend. Really easy to set up. I now have WiFi in the garden - yay!
Off topic but my internet with virgin wasnt very good. Kept getting drop outs. Rang them and complained and they said theyre sending a wifi booster. Im just waiting on it to be delivered. If that doesnt work ill try the powerline

It’s really easy if you use the app
Can't remember password from years ago, won't let me reset.
I don't understand the negative comments, what 'doesn't work'? Faulty units? Genuine question, because they seem to be very basic in principle. They don't boost anything, they take a signal and rebroadcast it at cost to speed.

There's a factory reset button, have you tried that?
First thing
Going try again when it's raining then going to throw as far as a can if it doesn't work.

Have this also extending a Virgin router and it's a great bit of kit. Extender posted is single band only BTW
No good with any network... Rubbish
Please don't buy... I had troubles with bt router signal in my bedroom. While this thing extended the signal the quality of signal became even poorer. I will have all 4 bars of wifi on my phone but no internet. It even caused my laptop to drop wifi signal all the time. Last month I ordered and installed tenda nova the base model with 2 nodes it sorted the signal.issue. Little bit expensive but provides same speed in bedroom now. Haven't had dropped signal since then. Really happy with tenda nova mx3 (I believe).

Don't bother with this one, I did. I got a mesh system in the end - Tenda MW5 Quad Pack from ebuyer. Yeah more expensive but it makes a difference.

Can be worth a try. Was skeptical myself but needed one recently and for the last few weeks I'm very happy.
