Is this any good to replace the crappy VM hub3? Wifi is a real pain at home

I'm also having the same issues with the VM hub 3 and hoping this will improve the Wifi connection. According to the reviews other people have seen improvements over the VM hub 3 with this router. However it looks like the price has gone up now to £79.99.

The AX53 which I believe is the newer model is £69.99 at the moment. Link

Seems cheap enough but I'm not sure on the performance. I've been looking out for a cheap Wifi 6E access point/router so that I can add a 6ghz channel to my home network. My current router is fine, it would be beneficial for a couple of fast devices to use the Wifi 6 protocol and separating them onto a 6ghz channel makes sense.

I've read that the 6ghz is really only faster with line of sight, otherwise it's not much quicker than 5ghz. Suppose it is less congested. Tp link do still a 6e router, about £240 on Amazon.

    Improved latency? How?

Using VM HUB4 and since updating to W10 I keep getting Windows warning message "Your wifi network uses older security......"
Searching online apparently I need to use security protocol WPA2+AES. Hub 4 doesn't have AES.

Will this router solve this issue (HUB 4 in modem mode)?

    If not any suggestions?

    Thanks.
