If you're investing in AC, you might as well get something with 867Mbps throughput on the 5GHz channel instead, otherwise a 300Mbps N adapter is a better value choice.

​I sent back a Tp-Link Archer T4U which wasn't giving download speeds a quarter of the advertised 867Mbps on 5ghz in fact it was much worse than this probably because of the internal antenna. I also have an
Asus USB-N53 Dual-band Wireless-N600 USB Adapter which is even worse.

Oh dear some reviews only give this 2 stars, think I will pass on this one

​Try the ASUS AC56 or Netgear A6210. Great modern AC adapters which do offer that throughput. Just a shame about the lack of Linux support.

​I don't need to Chuggee this works great for me and much cheaper than your suggestions so I think its a great deal.
