***I have now tested the adapter with Windows 10 using the driver tp-link.com/res…zip. I managed to download 2GB over a 5Ghz connection with no issues. I will leave the warning, just in case; NOT recommended for Windows 10 systems - see posts 4 & 10***

I think most of the detail is in the title, in so far as those looking one of these will know exactly what it is. For those with PCs (inc. servers & laptops) with no WiFi or perhaps slow/limited range WiFi this could be the answer - it should pick up a signal further from the source, working faster where the signal is weak rather than not picked up. This is only about £5 more than I can find a similar device that ships from HK & is rumoured to be a nightmare with Windows 10 (seemingly a Microsoft issue, but that generally means it is the user's problem).

For those who have not used Flubit, go to Flubit.com, register, paste in the Amazon link:amazon.co.uk/TP-…N2S & 'Demand a better offer'. They usually get back within 4-12 hours & have even beaten their own price (i.e. box.co.uk via flubit beating themselves on Amazon).

I have previous version which I bought to link my Raspberry Pi2 / Kodi. It works like a charm. Voted Hot.
Yeah I have a lesser model too (TL-WN822N I think) & I have used it with my Pi & Windows 8 mini PC with very good reults.
It's Flubit, not Flubbit...

Have you seen this page: tp-link.com/en/…tml - seems that they are releasing drivers.

Yes I did see this page before I decided to send my card back.

They released a driver for the card I bought but it didn't fix the issues that alot of people are seeing with it.

They also decided that because they have already released a driver to resolve previous issues that they are not releasing another driver to fix the new problems (that I stated in my original post).

tldr, just because they are releasing a driver to fix the problems people are seeing, it may not fix all of them, and subsequently they may not release another driver after that.

Risk vs Reward, just wish I read the forums about the model I purchased then no time / money would have been wasted.

Just want you to know that I am not trying to scare people away from your deal, it may work very well on Windows 10 with the new driver when they release it, it may also work really well on Win7/8/8.1, I am just warning people that they may experience issues as I (and others) did with other TP-Link products.

I did not think you were trying to scare people away. You may well have done, but with balanced, reasoned & polite statements of fact, which I would be insane to take offence at. I like you wish I had seen the feedback before buying - I also doubt that flubit will be so easy to return to (not that I would risk returning anything to amazon any more :))!
I received this yesterday and had no end of trouble. Downloading the Win 10 driver from the website is fine, it just doesn't maintain a connection on 5Ghz. I have tried it on several machines and no change, its supposed to offer good signal/reception, it does but with crap stability.

I would advise people not to buy this if you have Windows 10, it isn't stable and judging by informatiojn provided by TP-Link they don't really give toss either.
