Didn’t buy one myself but imagine someone will buy them all to make a profit by selling on eBay. Currently £24.99 in Argos for example.

Was about 30 left on the shelf in B&M culver house cross, Cardiff.

Imagine this, your router is on the first floor, while your Smart TV is upstairs, or maybe a Game Console in the bedroom and you prefer a wired connection so it needs it to be stable and achieve great speed to obtain your 4K Streaming or effective online game play. Avoid long cables and utilise your existing electrical circuit with a Powerline Kit from TP-Link. Just plug one unit by your Router and connect, whilst placing your other adapter in the location you need to get the internet and you’re ready to go.

Doubt it, Asda is miles away
Very good price but (and I'm only saying this because I did have them) these are 600 Mb/s and that's not enough for streaming. Your wiring will also have a major impact.
In short, my higher bitrate 1080p movies kept buffering with these, and play fine using (also tp-link's) 1GB power-line.

Meant to be B&M, don’t know why someone changed it haha
Could you plug one in to a long extension lead and pull out in to the garden for summer?

Interesting I use these (same model) and use with my Amazon Fire TV and Streaming is fine. Even at 4K providing I pause what ever I watch for a minute before I start watching.
Very good price, however not worth it if you have speeds faster than 100mb/s. Granted that’s not everyone, but a heads up for anyone that does and wants to hardwire using the Ethernet port as it’s not a Gigabit port. Heat nonetheless!
Any other store at this time of night on a Sat and they would have been queuing up to buy all of them at 10:01am on a Sunday.. BUT B&M stores are open EIGHT pm so these will be stripped in minutes for reselling!!!
Just bought 30.

I have a different model of 600Mbps powerline adapters. One is connected to a hub the feeds all devices by the TV. I have no trouble streaming 4K HDR content.
Great find. Sure neither store near me will have stock though

You can but it will slow it down
Wow..and I thought that 10£ was a bargain
Great price.

Ironically, they would never have been £10, they're usually more than that.

£5 is an excellent deal.

Just use an actual network cable if you are going to do that!
Bargain if v2s but not so if v1s. Avoid the latter, buy all of the former

Shame they aren't pass-through though.

That's the wrong way around.

Leave the AV600 plugged in the house and then run out an Ethernet cable to the garden, it plugs into the Ethernet socket underneath.
Presumably this is good for 100m or so.

Confused. My internet is like 40Mb/s. This clearly is faster... You saying it's slow...?? Am I missing something?
Thanks got them all!!

I've had some of these for a few years. I wouldn't expect to get much faster than 30-50Mbit through them depending on house wiring condition, distance, etc.The 600Megabit rating is just marketing, this is in lab conditions plugged in next to each other and you would never see those kinds of speeds in the real world

Oh yeah, of course. Sorry, wasn't really thinking straight. These would be great if you had power in your shed at the bottom of the garden

They were £10 actually, and there was a HUKDeals post for that, as that is what I paid for them. Obviously they were more than that originally, but these appear to have been reduced even further

It's fine for low bitrate content - even 4K HDR on netflix / youtube should be fine. But if you have decent quality video with good sound quality these will struggle, you need gigabit speed for that.
Also, these units are very sensitive to the state of your electrical wiring - you'll be lucky to get 200 Mbps in older houses out of them.

Works fine on full HD the slowest part is the old Sony Bravia TV software, it’s still has the old Amazon Instant Video test when you start anything new

At £10 when I got them versus the £60+ plus on eBay for the Sony WiFi adapter it’s a bargain, £75 Sony 32” TV at BHF and £10 homeplugs is perfect for a bedroom, I really think 4K is too much visually stimulation for pre sleep, like blue screen syndrome.

You won’t even get 100 out of them. They don’t support any speed faster than 100Mbps with the Ethernet port on these. The AV1000 is what you’ll need to get faster speeds.
It's good these are at £5 as they are not 600mbps as it only has a 100mbps port
ive got several AV500's dotted about the house. get speeds of around 34mbps. Added a couple of AV600's thinking they would be slightly better......they only pulled around 5-14mbps. Read that they drop down to AV500 speeds if not are all the same. Anyway sent them back. Good price tho!
I saw this yesterday! I knew I should have posted it lol figured they have messed up the shelf point of sale
omg, that's so good

HD TV needs only needs 4Mb/s, 4k at 16Mb/s. This will be fine for everyone.
None in my massive local Homestore has anyone else come across these other than Cardiff.
