I'd agree, great system works perfectly
Is there a site where I can get a better idea of what different deco models mean? M, P and E series?

Well, how is your wifi signal at the moment? Is there one part of the house/garden where there's nothing or it's poor, or more than one.

Specs are so similar between the two. Both are dual-band so they're just fancy repeaters with no dedicated band to communicate between the two.

P series:it transferred data by powerline between deco units, pass though thick walls or long distance.
M series: with gigabit ports
E series: with fast ethernet ports
Hope this helps
Does anyone have a mesh network with Sky Q? Putting me off that the mini boxes aren’t compatible with anything but the sky q router

For a 4 bed you’re likely to need 3 , especially if you’re house is like ours with brick internal walls.

Not true they can be connected to any network, google the instructions to do so or even better wire them via Ethernet

Are you sure? Everything I’ve read on google/sky forums suggests that the mini box won’t communicate with anything other than the Sky Q router - the exception being connected by Ethernet (however this isn’t practical for me).

Very sure as I had quite poor reception upstairs so added another access point on separate Wi-fi and connected to that instead sure there were YouTube videos on it as difficult to force the mini box to go onto another network
