This is really cheap and this mesh system works brilliantly. I’ve been running it for 18 months and it’s never skipped a beat and I paid £100 more for it!
I have been waiting for a deal on this! Great price Thank you!
How do these compare to google wifi?
How is this any good been watching these for a while ? Wonder how these compare to others in deal page ?
With mesh systems like this, if they all pass signals to one another, you can do something very wonderful.

With special software, controling your router, that's aware of the location of each repeater/antenna preset in the app on your computer that controls the router, you can tell when folk are outside your building, and stop them having access to your WiFi.

Still useful for folk with a garden, as you can fully control access able/disable/time/limit

An amazing use, that suppliers of the mesh extenders could supply, or at least tell you about, but I bet they won't.

Do a search, especially away from Google, about limiting WiFi mesh, and you'll see lots of options. Cisco started it, about 20 years ago, and lots of other companies and bedroom hackers, have written better/lighter apps

But for folk that own pub's, or coffee shops, that have passwords on the wall, it's really handy.

For offices, it's mission critical, stopping intrusions, and even more critically folk listening in/snooping on packets flying around, especially with so many wireless print servers.

Folk living in flats, if your neighbours share your WiFi costs, so they can piggy back and use your signal, then stop paying ... You can selectively disable that area
I have these, easy to set and brilliant!
Nice. Thanks Ordered!

The main difference is the Deco M5 provides Homecare*TM which has antivirus, the Deco M4 doesn't have antivirus. Both of them have parental control, QoS, compatible with Amazon Alexa, etc. And another difference is the design, Deco M5 looks like a disk which is smaller, the M4 is taller and slightly bigger. It depends on what you like. BTW, they can be mixed, so it would be ok to buy the Deco M4 first, if you need antivirus or better coverage, then buy a single Deco M5 to set it as the main one. I think it will provide antivirus as well.
I have these, paid £160 @ Amazon

Fantastic piece of kit, easy set up, faultless and fast
Do these work seamlessly? I have a cheap Edimax 5-in-1 N300 which I use in range extender mode via an Ethernet cable to my router. It uses the same SSID, same password and everything is set up as it should be - but it sometimes just doesn't work perfectly. Like in certain parts of my house my phone/tablet can;t decide which to connect to, and you can see it connecting/disconnecting constantly. Will these have the same issue?

These have faster 2.4Ghz performance (400 vs 300mbps on the m4) and 4 antennas per unit instead of 2, possibly giving slightly better range.
Ordered from my parents house. Heard these are good. Will see how they perform.
ordered vs m4 or tenda due to reviews...

Edit...had a rethink, cancelled this, ordered tenda m6 for 1/3 less...hope I don’t regret it lol

I had the same issue :
Used to have 2 x TP Link powerline range extenders, These :

amazon.co.uk/TL-…1-4

they worked great if you stayed still as they locked into the nearest wifi point.{hub/TP link1/ TP link 2}, as soon as you move around the wifi connection would suffer as it tried to find the strongest connection.

Since the switch to TP-Link Deco M5 the connection is perfect all the time for me, even on the move.
