You can get the S7 for around £100 ATM which is a belting bit of kit, I'm not so sure many people would benefit using this one over that for most people

I paid over £240 about a month ago for these.
I’ve upgraded from the BT whole home discs. These are a world apart. Far greater range and faster.
    I’m really pleased with them.
    Heat from me.
As for the S7’s, I’ve no idea. I’m rubbish at technology so went on reviews.

S7's wouldn't have been worth it in your situation If you were using the original white BT Whole Home Discs as the BT discs are AC2600 whereas the S7's are AC1900 so BT discs have better overall speed.

Just got the mercusys ac1300 x3 mesh system from Amazon for 54 quid, easy to install, works well and an upgrade over my old access point, upto 400mbps on 2.4... good value if someone wants to upgrade for not much money

If you need wifi 6 then may aswell get the x55 at £189.99. Very similar range and you get an extra ethernet port on each unit.

Slightly OT, but does anyone know why the vast majority of these systems are white? I very much prefer black kit as it would less obtrusive in my house...

Currently using Nova M5's but lately they have started playing up so need something more reliable. 1Gbps Internet is coming in the next few months so been looking at a new mesh system that will be able to cope with that once it has arrived. Would these do the trick? Presume the S7's won't be full speed?

Shame these don't have a dedicated backhaul so you sometimes get a muddled performance
