Control your devices remotely

Control your lights and electronic devices from anywhere in the world with the TP-Link Kasa HS110 V2.1 Smart Plug with Energy Monitoring.
Download the Kasa app to schedule your electronics to turn on and off as needed - or, you can use your phone like a remote and simply press a button to turn something on or off. This means you can easily control every device in your home from your phone.

To get started, all you have to do is connect the Smart Plug to your WiFi and plug it into a standard socket.
Monitor your energy
Stay on top of your energy usage - the Kasa Smart Plug can track your device's power consumption in real-time. And with weekly and monthly summaries, you can cut down on wasted energy.
The Kasa Plug doesn't just monitor your energy, it helps you save too. This plug comes with a countdown timer, which automatically switches off appliances if you've set a time limit before – perfect for powering down irons or curling tongs after you're finished using them.
Pair with Alexa or Google Home
Pair the Smart Plug with your Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa powered speaker, and you can control individual plugs or rooms with a quick and easy voice command.
You can also add it to one of your smart routines - for example, you could set all your smart plugs to switch off using a voice command such as 'bed-time'.
Away mode
Enjoy your holiday with peace of mind thanks to the Away mode, which turns your devices on and off throughout the day to give the appearance that someone is still home and deter potential intruders.

Same price on Amazon for those who prefer that (and don't need Spotify)
Great price for a great power monitoring plug. My only problem with it is that its on the large side so its not possible to put them in next to each other in the average power strip.
Not the lowest, but a good deal. Heat.
What does v2.1 do over the earlier HS110s?
Good price and the energy monitoring is a bonus but Apple users may want to look for Homekit compatibility if they have other Homekit devices. I find the Philips Hue ones are best and most reliable (using Zigbee mesh signalling between Hue devices) and they support Google Home, Alexa and Homekit.
Good price but prefer the Eufy (Anker) ones, less than £13 on Amazon at the moment, of course no Spotify.

These will work with Siri if you use the Yonomi app as well, and create Siri Shortcuts.

I believe that the UK version of those is only good for 1800W, whereas this one is good for the full 13A - 2999W. Note that, like any fused UK plug, they will get quite toasty running at the full 3kW. They need to be in the open air and not hidden away inside a cabinet or covered in curtains.

Many of the other smart sockets on sale are only rated at 10A. So they won't cope with a 3kW heater as load. Well, they will - but not for long and life can then get very toasty.

Yeh - they need to totally redesign these plugs. This is a massive problem - you can't even plug them in next to each other(!)

These plugs cannot handle 3KW - they not only overheat, but they start switching on/off randomly really fast and dangerously. I know as mine have done this. Don't use these on anything near 3KW is my advice.
Can these be flashed with Tasmota?

I love Anker (cables, hubs and wall chargers) but i don't trust the Eufy plugs one of mine melted (refunded no question can't fault Anker). I've always paid the extra for TP-Link's smart plugs the reviews don't look great as well.

If it works for you that's good though. 1800W limit for Eufy. I've about 11x of the HS100 just brought my first HS110 series to monitor Air Con costs (I'm aware it works with HS100 manually working it out via runtime via app but ain't nobody got time for dat right?).
