be warned that this probably involves subscription to a DDNS service or …be warned that this probably involves subscription to a DDNS service or routing your video through a Chinese server, or both..

I've got a mobile phone and a Google home mini smart speaker so my privacy is already long gone. If a Chinese person wants to look at me dancing in the kitchen whilst burning lasagne they are most welcome.

Might get this for nursery, would this be suitable?

I have this for a nursery and it’s great. The only issue is sometimes it takes an age to connect to, although that may be something in my WiFi setup rather than the camera. Picture is decent day or night

Edit - I don’t have mine set to record or anything, I have a sound monitor in there and just use this to see what the baby is up to when the sound monitor goes off.

Are there any decent cameras under 30-40 quid that can be accessible through web-browser, support own ftp recording etc? I started looking for an IP camera and all of them are those based on 3rd party cloud, with app-only viewing etc I'm really disappointed
you can access to see your room when you are at work?

4th feature down may be of interest.

Is it battery or mains operated?
Good little camera at a good price, might be time to get another one
It’s a good price and a good camera for basic use, but for a little more I would go with the PTZ one which has been posted here: hotukdeals.com/dea…116

The older Foscams are like that. I have one and use Blue Iris to record to my server. Works fine, although being an older model the image quality is not the best.

This or yi camera indoor 1080
Might swap my Yi cameras for these. The notifications still aren't working properly on Android for me.
Im thinking this may be handy for me to make occasional checks on my elderly father, to make sure he is ok, as he lives too far away for me to just "pop round"
Excellent find
What fps does this run at
How is this vs the Yi Dome camera?

The Yi camera notifications work fine but if I try to forward in the day to a recorded footage it always resets back to 6am start, no matter how many times I drag the cursor to the time I want.
Can’t find that info in the manual but found this online

Can I use this in the porch to video outside the house?

Can it viewed if in another country?
For those of us who value our privacy, will this camera work standalone like any standard IP camera? ie is it accessable just via its Ip address?

I don't think so. This is my biggest concern too.
No mention of it being a standard ip cam, can’t find anything online either, sorry
