TP-Link KP105 Wi-Fi Smart Plug £14.99

These are the new updated, smaller smart plugs from TP-LINK that replace the bigger H100/H110 both of which are now on clearance @ Argos. Apparently these are now small enough to use without blocking up your access to any adjacent plug sockets like the older H100/110 models used to do particularly when used in extension leads.

You can still use them with the original app. Just select smart plug mini during set up. I'll probably grab a few to use along side the older one's as I had issues using the older one with extonsion leads.

No, these use the same app as the old ones BUT look like the newer ones that use the tapo app... why TP Link have 2 apps for almost identical products

I believe the one that uses the Tapo app is the Tapo P100 also made by TP-Link. That smart plug looks pretty much the same as the TP-Link K105 with similar functionality. This one the TP-Link K105 is a part of the Kasa range of products so will work with the Kasa app only. If you want to use the Tapo app, you will have to get the Tapo P100 instead but be aware it will have slightly less functionality than the Kasa version.

Amazon doing 2 Kasa Plugs for £24.99 at the moment.
Genuine question (you need that disclaimer on here) how are these functionally different from generic or sat Nooie smart plugs which has on/off, timer, and scheduled 'random' on/off function and are voice controlled and work with Google Home? Is it just trusted brand and reliability or is there more to it? I bought 4x Nooie plugs recently on a deal for £23.

That's for the older Hs100 that I also posted today for £11.99 each at Argos.
You can add a Google Mini for an extra £10.

Yeah. I bought some more a couple of weeks ago.....pretty much the same sort of price, so I'm bet once a month they do the voucher. I Iove them, bit I'm still in the dark about how they other types compare.

Nothing really has been as good as my Kasa ones. Had a few types. I’ve two similar ones in size to yours and I keep having to whack them on the kitchen top to get the relay to release.
My Kasa (HS100) plugs need resetting once a month at least. No WiFi or power issues in the house that I am aware of. Otherwise, pleased with them.
