But what if you only have one socket in the corner of the room but need several sockets? The TP link is therefore ideal.

RRP £34.99 when on offer £29.99 I think this is lowest price.
You can get a set of 4 smart plug on here for this sort of money normally.

I bought one of these last time it was on HUKD.

Easy to set up in Kasa app but not so easy to connect with Google Home, had to unlink Kasa from Home and then re-link them in order to get everything working.

One mildly irritating design flaw - each socket has a light next to it to show if that socket is on or off, but said light is completely obscured by the plug when it is inserted in the socket - doh.

Apart from that, everything else is all good.

Bought this for £14 when it first came out more than a year ago and it has been working solid since with no problems whatsoever.

It was at that price at the time. No power monitoring but on and off, scheduling and complete integration with home automation.

Try and fit 4 TP-Link HS100s next to each other! Also no USB and no surge protection if you do it your way.
Good price, heat added. Just a shame USB is always on, surely ideal if could turn those off too.
This good with power heaters? Was scared to use them on the normal ones, but this has surge protection, does that help?
Thought it was a wiimote
Heat. Ordered. Thanks.

I wouldn't use it with a heater, my mrs did with the usual tplink plugs and it burnt out.

Surge protection doesn't help, you need to look at the maximum continuous wattage available on each socket. Tp-Link doesn't give you that figure on their website, only that the total output for all sockets combined is 13A. I would avoid this product.

Kasa or Tapo? Kasa are rated for 13amps, Tapo only 10amps.

Should never use a heater off an extension anyway. Even then 13A is the maximum rating any plugged device can be specified for.
A heater in this would max it’s capacity making the other 3 sockets superfluous.

Just power it all from one tp link.

Ours turns off about 10 items!

But then its all on or all off. At least with this you can have several items plugged in to one socket, but still control them independently.

Ouch. They are rated to 2.99kw.
Did you quiz it with them?

Hope it wasn’t a 3kw heater.

That's strange as mine cuts off and sends an alert message on the app if connected to a device that draws too much pot.
If voucher expired and you want a cheaper one, this for £19.99 may be an alternative:
