What's potentially more useful with this is the OneMesh support so you can have one seemless network throughout your house with no separate SSIDs where you have extenders

I have this router and extended the network with onemesh. It works really well and I'm happy with it.

I bought a wifi 6 router thinking yay and not knowing a lot about it. Guess what. Nothing in my house supports wifi 6. We have all latest iPhones and only latest iPads support it. Bah.

I got one of thier routers and it was advertised as getting one mesh support then they removed it all from the website and product page and said they never said they were actually adding it

I get that, I nearly bought one of their routers that was due to get OneMesh support and waited and waited watching the website, and then nothing and the coming soon label disappeared. So yes, I wouldn't trust them to deliver on promised products

Better than my hub 2 from now broadband? Struggling with WiFi at the other end of the house

Better off getting a mesh system if that's the case.

Good router. Got this router from SeeTheLight as part of the broadband package. While downloading the latest firmware I found that there are two variations / submodels of this router hence you get two firmware options. Mine has a usb port but the one sold online and down in the tplink manual didn't have a usb port to plugin a backup 4g router.

Beginner question: do I swap my current router with this or plug a lan cable into this from the router? Thanks
