TP-Link Pocket Router etc £3 only! @ Sainsbury's

Found 12th Aug 2016Made hot 12th Aug 2016
Ridiculous reduction, original price 23£.
Model No: TL-WR710N, advertised as Wi-Fi Pocket Router/AP/TV Adapter/Repeater with USB port. Was looking for the Netgear 1200 gigabit power line adapter, link: hotukdeals.com/tag/dea…548
Found a reduction sign of this WiFi pocket router for 3£ and asked a staff member who told me it was out of stock. But was very helpful to guide me to the Cheltenham store which was supposed to have stock not only of this, but also some Netgear 1200 powerline adapter sets. Went there , got both and scanned a WiFi 750AC extender for 15£. Got that one, too. A netgear 1200 powerline adapter and 750ac WiFi extender left on the shelf in Cheltenham Tewkesbury Road, good luck, guys.

Make sure you keep the receipt, I have had problems with tplink stuff in the past which has turned out to just be unfixable, if its still good in two weeks though you are golden! And they are great little things.

likewise, had no end of issues with TPLink kit.

Not in my experience. I own an IT company and we sell tp link all day every day and it's been years since we had a failure that wasn't user error

I had a TP Link cheapy ADSL which fried because I left it in direct sunlight for 3 years.. but my TP Link wifi extender / x3 powerline adapter is brilliant.. although you can only connect to it with a clunky proprietary windows app.

This Device is very cute!. :-)

I need to find myself one too I think?, hehehe.

Pretty sure these are the ones that can be turned into wireless control boxes for Canon cameras with an updated firmware. Good find for the price.

I bought the last 2 of these in Liverpool Sainsburys about 2 weeks ago. Although I paid £7 each. So clearance items if you can find them.

Usually TP Link stuff is very good but I will admit I had a few difficulties with this thing. Still, very useful and signal is pretty strong. I got one in Curry's for a tenner and thought that was a bargain X)

I thought this TP-Link only worked in tents?oO

Picked up last 2 in ashford yesterday. Great little boxes

Has anyone come across any of these in London Sainsburys Store too?. :-)

seen 3 of these a few days ago but just got one which was sealed with £3 keyboards as well which i got 2 of

I have two of these, both from Sainsburys.
One was £14, the other was £7.
£3 is bonkers cheap, nice find OP.

These are 150Mbs, there is a 300Mbs version out now so I guess that is why they are going cheap.

Heat added - I doubt I'll find a store with stock though

Bought one from Sainsbury's a while back for around £13 and it's working a treat at the moment,so nice find

Had one of these for a few years and I have found them really good. Slightly tricky to initially set up (but there are instructions via Google). Works in multiple ways e.g change a wired network to a wireless etc. Excellent price!

The signal from this is strong, not intense.

There was never a link to the item, it was a generic Sainsbury's link. The item is in store only but national if you can find stock..

A mifi or mobile phone will do that. I don't know that what you are asking about exists (don't know it doesn't either). Basically with both of the options I suggest the dongle is built in to the router device.

I'm sure someone cleverer than me will let us know.

Yeah this is exactly what you buy a mifi type device for.
