Lowest I've ever seen this. Usually goes for close to £100 or more.

Currys and a bunch of others are selling for £109.99.
currys.co.uk/gbu…tml

I don't see it lower than £109.99 on any of the currently available prices on any of the main shops that sell wifi extenders.

Amazon's lowest previous price before today was £77 last year. They have it showing as discounted from original price of £114.99 and before the latest change today was priced at £84.

Been looking for a good wifi extender for a while as my signal is pretty poor around the house so hopefully this is a good item. If anyone has any opinions of this please let me know whether I made a good purchase or not.

Cheers, and have a great end to your weekend everyone.

Drop-Free and Seamless Dual Band ConnectionsWith four dual-band external antennas, the RE650 connects to any router with Wi-Fi coverage of up to 14,000 sq. ft. The 880MHz dual-core processor maximizes Wi-Fi performance as you move around freely in your home with your smartphone or tablet. More Connections and Faster for EveryoneMU-MIMO technology allows the RE650 to serve up to four devices at once, reducing wait time and greatly increasing Wi-Fi throughput for every device. With MU-MIMO, the RE650 runs up to 4x faster than traditional AC range extender.

High-speed Gigabit Wired ConnectionThe RE650’s Gigabit Ethernet port lets you connect a wired device such as a game console or smart TV to create a fast, reliable wired connection.

Find the Best Spot with Intelligent Signal IndicatoThe Intelligent Signal Light helps you quickly find the best location to install the RE650.

  • Blue: good connection

Built-in Access Point ModeRE650 is more than a wireless range extender. Simply plug an Ethernet cable into its Ethernet port, and easily turn your wired internet connection into a 4×4 MU-MIMO dual band wireless access point.

Easy operation via the Tether appWith the TP-Links app "Tether" you can control and manage the repeater from anywhere via your iOS or Android device.

Hopefully it'll work fine for you, but a 'mesh' system is usually much better - something like this that was posted recently: 4 Pack - Tenda MW3 Mesh System £79.99 @ Box

I'm voting hot because it's a good deal, £40 cheaper, but not sure about the product, some will probably like, some will hate. I will follow this deal for comments, hopefully most will be helpful as I have rubbish WiFi signal in my house 😡

Cheers pal. I will see how it goes when it arrives on Saturday. Worst comes to worse I can return the device but really hoping it's good. Most electronic shops I went to recommended the one with the 3 antennas to me but apparently each additional antenna makes it somehow more powerful, whatever that means. Just jumped in and bought as I was just browsing today about to buy from Currys when I decided to take a quick look at Amazon.
Save up and get a network with proper separate backhaul
I have no idea why this isn't red hot.

These are fabulous units, connect it to your WiFi, move it to where you need it & then as an added bonus connect an Ethernet cable from the unit to your pc/tv/Whatever else you might want a super fast cabled internet connection for.

I actually get super quick connection speeds for my desktop pc using this piece of kit & as an added bonus with it having 2.4ghz & 5ghz & being close to the front of my house my ring video doorbell actually gets a decent connection..2 problems solved with one device, I have another giving a wired connection to my tv, no more buffering.

This should be red hot at this price, I might buy another just for my works office at this price.

Very simply extenders always cut speed because of how they are designed.

So in the grand scheme of things, would a mesh system be better?

its called single duplux main router uses dual duplux
When they show a repeater or mesh network can the diagram stop making out you put the repeater just inside the reach of the signal

I'm curious, what does the above statement mean?

In simple words: try and move to mesh. For this kind of money, a basic 3 mesh kit will be better, will take more devices at the same time. But it all depends on your household intrrnet needs

Excellent thanks
Wow. For this price this must be the scorching hot ! I will help you get there, voted hot and ordered as I need one. The only better extender is nighthawk but it costs £ 150. It is a no brainer for me. Having read reviews of both devices this TP link for 69.99 is a steal? Am I stealing by buying it so cheap. Just wow !

Probably, but not all have such a high budget to improve their Wi-Fi, or need such high-end specs/performance. The pair of Tenda MW3s I bought that did me fine (for my present needs) cost me only £40-45.
Yes, I got it delivered yesterday. Paired it using WPS and I have a strong connection to the router. TP link software is telling me to move it even further away but wi fi extender is in optimal place imo. Now I have the same speeds downstairs/upstairs near the router. When I launched their tether app, any new device connected to the wi fi showed up on the app. Hmmmm steamlink connected to 2.4 ghz was listed but when I connected it through 5 ghz it was not showing in the app, does it mean it connects to the router not repaeater? Dont get it as Sony TV is connected to 5 ghz and is listed in tether app. Overall I am happy, I think. 170 mb/s downstairs and even strong singal.in the garden.
Showing at £86.80 now.
Post was from a month ago mate. Must have increased in price again during that time. I'll expire the thread.
Wanted to give some time before really coming to any conclusions on this but having used this for 2 months now I can safely say it's done me wonders. I've changed the name of the extender to something else so I'm not confused what I'm connecting to and I exclusively connect to the extender now. The extender and the router are in the same room at the bottom of the house and where I wouldn't get a signal at all on the 3rd floor I now get 31mb everywhere in the house where I usually get 32.5mb get when sitting right next to the router. Really happy with the purchase. Hope it's working as well for other who purchased it as it does for me.

Yeah ! I have similar experience with the device. I totally agree that chaning name is recommended as it is confusing AF. My 5G is Kingslanding and my 2g is Winterfell. Hahahha people scanning for wifi would love to raid both but powerful encryption will stop them like khalisi dragons would have
