when they work they're great
I have these and they are quite good. Speed always depends on house wiring.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of point having a home network that runs faster than your WiFi.
Not unless you are one of the tiny fraction of geeks people who serves gigabits/second to everyone else in your house
Got these, always get full Internet speeds (200mb)...my previous home plugs Netgear with 500mbps gave me 80mb fibre speed. I do think it makes a difference and worth a buy.
Might be worth waiting for other deals. I bought a pair of the pass-through version for 55 a couple of weeks ago from Box, back up to 100 now. No Tardis comments please, just a heads-up.

Got these running in my house with zero issues at all.

Actually mine are the pass through ones and were less than these from Amazon.

You just wait till you start watching more that 1080p on more than one tv... or streaming 4k... with a congested wifi signal because the pillock next door is doing the same thing. These things are genius... doesn't matter how far you are from the wifi point as long as you are on the same ring main. New definition for geek is interesting though.

What about streaming movies from computer/NAS to TV?
Thank you, heat added 😊

Yeah I have 4 pass through ones. Don't upgrade the firmware, it's buggy! Mine are okay now after doing a factory reset to the old firmware.

Mine are running latest firmware ok but there is a v1 and v2 so maybe that's the difference.
Use these over two floors of a house get ~700mb which is fine by me. Think they are v1. Never turn them off and power is minimal as per smart meter. Haven't had one drop out in a year just restarted it and was fine. Copy vids to raspberry pi open media server which maxes out to speed of usb drive and stream videos over dlna to raspberry pi kodi box also use steam link to play games without any noticable lag. I got these for 100 from maplin so Ireckon this is a great price.
