Manufacturer's Description
The TL-WN821N Wireless N USB Adapter complies with IEEE 802.11n (Draft 2.0), IEEE 802.11g, and IEEE 802.11b standards. Wireless transmission rates can reach up to 300Mbps. The adapter employs MIMO technology and has internal Intelligent Antennas providing even better wireless performance, transmission rates, stability and coverage. At the same time, CCA technology automatically avoids channel conflicts using its channel selection feature. This product supports 64/128/152-bit WEP encryptions, as well as WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryptions and mechanisms in addition to the adapter's QSS (Quick Secure Setup) feature, allowing users to quickly and easily setup wireless security. This product can also simultaneously operate bandwidth intensive applications such as voice, and video. Applications using a lot of bandwidth that are sensitive to interruptions such as voice and video applications are given priority in order to assure quality. It also works well with other 11g and 11n protocol wireless products.

Grabbed two Thanks OP good spot

Looks good - ordered. thanks.

Anyone tried it? How's the reception without a 'proper' external antenna?

I havent tried one of these, however I have used a few of TP links DSL routers and they have been absolutely fine. I dont consider brands to be important, I value performance and customer support much more than a name... At this price just try one!

Thanks, ordered one.

My daughters Netgear wireless N adapter broke yesterday (usb connector broke, my father's did the same 2 weeks ago) so this looks just the thing for her. Ordered, heat added.

these won't work in 360's will they?

Does this work for Ubuntu too? Wanna run this on my netbook.

comment on amazon suggests it does!

bought 2 as spares.. at this price its woth it!

Got the 150MBps version for £4.12 few weeks ago.

The manual and drivers were in German and did not function properly. Go to TP Link's website to get the drivers - don't use the CD. Other than that no problems. Reception is showing at 80% from using it from one story below. Can't say much about speeds, as I'm still using 802.11g.

BUT its now a 1-2 month wait!!

Just to confirm - the reception is better on this one than on my older Edimax card. Using on 802.11b/g
