Product Overview
Upgrade to this ingenious smart plug from TP Link. Simply hook up your appliances and you’ll be able to turn them on and off straight from your phone, saving you both time and effort. You can set up 6 unique daily profiles, so your coffee machine can come on at 7am on a workday and 10am at the weekend. Plus, it even has an Away Mode, which allows you to set your appliances to turn on and off while you’re away. And unlike other smart plug brands, you don’t need any separate hub – this’ll work straight out of the box with your phone, Amazon Alexa or Google Home speaker independently.

Please note, to use the TP-Link WiFi Smart Plug, you’ll need to download the free Kasa app, which is compatible with both Apple and Android devices.

Must replace my Kasa plugs as every couple of days I have to readd /pair the Kasa app to Alexa as I constantly get device not responding. None of the Chinese variants i have these issues which have been solid and connected all the time even after router reboots.

I know I'm not.alone with this problem various users on other forums I check have had same problem. I've got 12 plugs around the house as well as other devices and it's only the Kasa plugs causing me problems. Reinstalled both alexa and Kasa apps repaired everything and still get random 'device not responding'.
Had 11 of them for must be nearly 18 months - had one which totally died but I think I put too much load through it, the rest have been very reliable and integrate v well with SmartThings which is the main draw. Looks a good price to me, but have bought cheaper (first 8 were £8 each)
Had my 2 for a couple of years now. Great job.
I've had 3 of these for a couple of years with no issues.
why cold votes?

Probably because they're cheaper on Amazon and Currys (which also give you 6 months Spotify too)
I have one of these and haven’t had any problems. I also have several Sonoff smart plugs which are just as good and can be had for 6 or 7 quid from aliexpress and other Chinese websites.
