So no value at all for 1st gen ipad....booooo
Those prices are rubbish, might as well play frisbee.

While not quite the same, Cex give £120 instore credit for an iPad 2.
So sell one private for say £140+ easy enough.

ipad 2 i would not worry to much about as they tend to sell around 100-120 but ipad 3 and ipad 4 sell alot better as the ipad 4 tends to be around 200 bracket depending on conditions etc.

these prices are rubbish and they will probably refurb them and put them on ebay with 3 month warranty etc or pass them out as replacements to people who took out the know how replacement scheme etc and this is a cheap way of getting hold of stock.
I have an ipad 3rd generation 32gb

This is running shockingly slow now and makes me stop using it in recent weeks.

I was set thinking I would get the next ipad in October as I de idea to skip air 2 because of hearing and seeing the vibration problems with the sound.

However I have now seen and looking to maybe getting a surface pro. Again I may have to wait for pro 4. So with them both around the corner and seeing this deal I was wondering if to trade and get the mini 2 32gb to get me by. Cost my ipad and £170.

I can't find ipad 3 v ipad mini 2 anywhere so can't see if it's upgrade or downgrade. My ipad 3 is in perfect condition and obv cost alot, but thinking if I should hold out longer or get a trade to get me by until October is!?

£108 doesn't seem much when ipad 2 32gb is £105! Where would I get most for my ipad 3?

Thoughts please?

you could try ebay, gumtree etc as cex sell around £195. tbh price depends on condition, size of memory, warranty etc.you could try listing it here in the for sale section and put a price on it and let people put offers on it under your price and deal from there.

Thanks, apart from the charger cable (they all fray) the ipad hasn't left it's case since day 1 so is pristine condition.
Just feels stupid slow. Maybe it's the latest software or maybe used to picking up my Nexus 5 and it being faster.

EBay is a good shout, but of there's not much in it, is easier to sell or trade at a shop. Just a shame really. Tempted with those surface pro's though.

Thanks for tips :o)
Why do you think they do these deals?

Surely they're not going to sell on the traded in iPad?
poor prices offered, better to ebay and pay fees
Because Apple sheep just love bending over

They sell "refurbished" items on eBay, give em a quick wipe over with a wrag and mister muscle and bang em on at a mark up.
I got the email about this and thought about posting it for the lulz, but then thought to myself that no one would be daft enough to post it, I stand corrected.

iPad Mini 2 is basically an iPad Air in smaller case.
Against an iPad 3 I'd say its an upgrade, certainly performance wise.

Here you go, they give you £155 for iPad 4 64gb wifi+cellular and they are selling them (grade B) for £349. oO
ebay.co.uk/itm…c51

Grade B Refurbished
May be cosmetically challenged, with more noticeable flaws and cosmetic wear, including scratches, chips or other forms of cosmetic damage, which do not affect the performance of the unit.
Ha! First time I've ever seen that. "Cosmetically challenged"

you're right lol
At those trade in prices they probably make much more profit selling second hand Ipads compared to selling new ones which no doubt have razor thin profit margins. Of couse this way they sell a new Ipad and sell the second hand one so it's win-win for them and no doubt meets their green criterior for ISO or suchlike.
