Was going to go for this but after reading a few reviews it seems wickes often store their bags of coal outside so it seems the coal is often very wet and unburnable! Maybe worth a punt if you can be bothered to return it if it is wet. Not voting hot or cold

Returning wet coal! That's a new one on me, most of the coal I burn is wet when I bring it in from outside, Ok it's not good for lighting the fire but makes no difference once the fires going.
Good price, but this brand of coal is very poor quality and you will be left with a grate full of ash and coke lumps, my coal man supplies 'premium' house coal for £6 for 25KG which burns great and leaves next to nothing in the grate, wet or dry.
I always buy smokeless for my stove and often buy wickes. Great deal so I will be stocking up. Thanks for posting.
My bad, thought these looked like a posh bag of crisps.
Cheers for this... I was about to nip to b&m as theirs was £3 a bag. Gonna save me a few quid..
Just been into my local one, £4 a bag or 3 for £9. Had a look in an open bag and the pieces are really small. Felt a few other bags and similar size. Didn’t bother, prepared to pay more for better coal
anyone know the best place to get logs year?
Thanks for posting...just been and got 10 bags of the Brazier £2.75. I was also able to use my Wickes 10% discount card. Bags all stored inside the store, just put some on my multi fuel stove, definitely not wet. I’ll mix it with my coal supply from coal man as his is wet!
Thanks, great for Christmas stockings!
I would be careful i see in the new papers headlines today that coal is being banned from next year. i would like to think that smokeless would still be ok but you never no with the halfwits we have in power in this country.
