i wonder if we can order now for delivery for next year on my wedding? ;oP

This seems a good price for a wedding cake, as the cost of wedding cakes in general seems to have got totally out of hand. One part of the description bothers me though "Fruit cakes can be eaten up to 14 days after collection". A good fruit cake can be eaten many months after making it.

Good point...perhaps they mean the sponge cake?

I had an M&S wedding cake and it tasted lovely.:) ..If you don't want to buy a huge cake but want enough to go around, additional to the cake i think the cutting blocks are only around £8 and go a long way.

We has the M&S cake for our wedding (3 Tiers) it was so delicious we ended up buying another cake just for us because we enjoyed it so much. Great value and you can dress it up quite easily and inexpensively.

It's probably because of the icing rather than the cake.
