I can't take seriously any company that uses this kind of naming convention.

Not heard of them before but they seem to be linked to First Great Western?
Anyone used them yet?

less than an hour on a high speed train for a quid! the bus journey takes over 2 hours each way (and gets stuck in traffic!)..... Oxford is a lovely place to visit in the summer time....8)

GR8 DEAL

its a minimum of a £1 each way so (£2 is the cheapest) ifyou can get your outward/return to marry up. got a day out going 10am from oxford return from London 4pm for £6 each, still good value, cheers

and don't forget if you wanna go to Bicester Village

great! thanks

That's a cracking deal especially for those who do not have (/do not qualify for) railcards.

FGW's cheapest advance tickets on their main site are £4.40 (or £2.65 with railcard) for a journey between the same two stations.

If there's no ticket available on the gr8traintickets website (especially for evening travel) I'd recommend hitting the main site to get a ticket to complete your journey.

Thanks again for the great find!

Thanks to OP for this cracking deal. Got it sorted for full family at £2 return per person.

Thank you very much for this information!

Thank you very much! Booked r/ticket for both myself and the Mrs!

I use this website all the time (great if you are travelling off peak) - really good deals available! Hot

That's as it might be but nobody forces you to buy!

Bicester Village is one Outlet place I've not been to and at these train prices I'm looking forward to taking a look.

gr8traintickets is run by TheTrainLIne and FGW - and they're running this special offer as Chiltern Railways (a much better service) is opening a new line from Oxford to London Marylebone via Bicester.
