Ok for transcend dash cam?

Yes, but I would go to Sandisk, the reason because I had a 32GB card and it stopped working after 4 years.. I sent it back to Sandisk and they re-send me a 64GB back without asking any silly question. I didnt even have any receipt or proof of purchase.

Never dealt with this company so dont know their customer service.

According to the law (CRA2015), it's the retailer's responsibility - in this case Amazon - to send you a replacement/refund if something goes wrong within the warranty period. Been shopping with Amazon since 2000 & they've never failed me in this regard.
Got one of these a few days ago
Good price
And agree if you buy a car you dont go to the manufacturer you go to the garage that is who your contract is with
Having said that, never ceases to amaze me how many people say dont buy this i had one and it didnt work
If that was the case no one would ever buy anything, nothings perfect get over it
Might as well try it. Can always send it back. Some cards don't erase old videos on dash cams so once it's full that's it. The card in dash cam is only 16gb so only holds about 2 hours then starts deleting. Be nice to have more recordings before it starts to delete.
Ok for use in.switch?
It's actually only the retailers responsibility within the first 6 months. After that they're fully within their rights to point you to the manufacturer. Also in the first 6 months it's up to them to prove an item wasn't faulty when delivered. After 6 months it's down to you. They only have to offer a repair or replacement but in a responsible amount of time. Otherwise a refund.
It's deals like this that remind me of an innocent time when we bought memory by the MB

Didn't work properly with my Nextbase dashcam. Kept throwing up errors and needing reformatting. Amazon refunded no problem.

I've had a discussion with Amazon about this.

They done care unless you follow this:

Under £20 - 6 months warranty
Over £20 - 2 year warranty and you'll be lucky to get Amazon to help. After 6 months they always point you to the manufacturer.

They're a law unto themselves, when they put their foot down.

You can scream the CRA all you like, they just go round and round, until you're worn out.
My package came opened. Just asked for a replacement as they could've been swapped for fake ones for all I know.

Kinda shocked with the service, had mucky fingerprints all over it too.
Just bought Samsung for the dash cam as they need high endurance. Warranty on the SanDisk endurance products is poor. 64gb - 3y with Samsung. That'll do me albeit cost about 16 quid.
