Everyone should have at least two cameras so avoid insurance arguments and fraud.

The A119 has recently been recommended to me as well. Going to get three = for rear, left and right. Looking Vicovation Opia2 for front. Currently using a KOONLUNG K1S for front and rear but want complete coverage at 1440p.

I had a look at the opia 2, price is ridiculous and improvements aren't worth it at all, infact it's sometimes worse than the a1119

A119 is made in China by a company called Viofo, records 2K at 30 FPS, and has an option for 1080P at 60 frames, it hides at the top of your windscreen,

I have used mine for 2 months and it is great for £58.

That is normally the case, but there are exceptions. Anderson v Warburtons, & Bellingham v Todd are examples of cases where vehicle that was hit, was partially liable

I was clipped rear left side on a roundabout but insurance approach was 50/50 split as it's a roundabout. Camera footage puts to bed the idea of shared blame and puts it fully with other driver.

Also for example if someone is on their phone behind you and slams into you, yes it's going to be their fault but you could also supply video to police to prosecute. Similar for road rage etc.

Also could be used for when you are reversing.

Plus can be used as a security camera.

Or could show a car hitting you then pushing you into car in front........is that enough?

I've had this in my car for nearly 2 years now and it's been spot on. I also purchased the suction holder for the window so if I change cars I can take it put easily save using the permanent fixing that came with it.

Quality is good even in the night and personally I set the record time to 3 minute loops as if you do 5 minute ones and then download the footage to the app it takes ages.

With this camera I also used some black electrical tape to cover around the housing at the front as it has a silver ring which is noticeable and also some writing so the black tape makes it stand out less and noted a few people in reviews have also done this
Good price and it's a great dash cam.

Although I posted up the same deal a tad cheaper a few months ago and it got voted cold!!??

Bizarre how one deal goes hot and my other cheaper deal didn't?

Anyway, heat added and thanks for posting

yep you have convinced me thanks
I've had the 220 Pro for nearly 2 years. Swapped the 16gb card to the currents phone and added a 32gb to the dashcam, never had a problem with it whatsoever.
We live in the countryside where street lighting is a myth so solely reliant on the headlights for night time recording. It is passable – you can see what is in front of you when watching it back.

I just got mivue 638 refurbished for £79.99 delivered with gps and speed camera warrnings plus 1080p recording with HDR and 2 micro sd slots marvelous piece o kit
I am looking for one that record at night time while the car I parked. Does this one do this? Twice someone scrapped my car side overnight.
I've had this one for about 6 months now and it's brilliant, researched Cams like crazy to find the best of the best and this was the result.
How do you fix these cameras to record rear view If you have a hatchback or a 4x4 tyoe door is there a ceiling mount as such?
how do you fit these to a power supply?

Hmmmm maybe a little more research is in order then if this was the best you came up with!
I have this model and would happily purchase again. Only thing to watch out for is if the LED stops blinking it means the SD card is full and you need to reformat it. Unlike some dashcams once full it doesn't start over and record over previous data/footage.

Mine automatically rewrites over the old footage once the micro sd card gets full. Not sure if it's in the settings that you have to enable but mine wipes old footage

The only footag it doesn't automatically wipe is the locked footage when the camera detects a bump which is a pain if you hit a little pot hole the sensor starts the recording off but I just delete any of them

You're wrong Aza
do these still need wires dangling and plugged in cigeratte lighter full time ? or are they powered by batteries now ?
I have this and it's good, so recommended. For some reason this has a better viewing angle then their more expensive model.

Just one thing to note is that the cable is one with the cigar lighter socket. So if you don't have such a power socket in your car and only have a USB port (like me) then you'll need to source a power only USB to Mini-USB cable.

No it isn't always the other drivers fault. If they can show that you stopped or braked in an unexpected manner and an unnecessary way it's your fault an has been for years.

Show me another Dash cam in this price range that compares, video quality and features.

Of course you can get a insane dash cam for silly money that records front and rear etc but if you pay the amount they are you are a sucker.

Do your research and find a better Dash Cam for £70 I'm waiting on you big boy ;O)
It's a shame I can't use the fitted lane departure warning camera to record footage!

Wire them up to fuse box or car battery so they power on and off with car.
