I know we have seen 16GB cards cheaper than this in the past and you can currently get two 8GB cards for around this price, but from what I can see, this seems a good price for a 16GB Class 6 card with a company like Transcend and lifetime warranty.

I have lost count of the number of posts on other forums I have read about these Transcend card giving errors. Some people using in camcorders have even lost holiday and birthday footage.

You are better off buying the PNY 16GB SD card from play.com. Might not be class 6 but I would rather have a decent class 4 card than a class 6 card that has a reputation of failing.

Can't find it. I don't think Amazon are selling it anymore.

Have now corrected the link.

Do you mean the problems with MacOS Leopard:
dvinfo.net/con…tml
or that some people who ordered the 16GB version from TheMemStore complained that they received some no-name card reader which didn't work properly?

Do you have links to the other problems? If it is Mac specific problems then it might be okay for a PC user.

I've got about 6 of these for my Panasonic SD9 and so far they have been 100% perfect!

I'd always buy this ahead of a PNY class 4 as a friend of mine has had problems with the write speed on a class 4 cards for HD footage!!

i`m tempted to get this for my Panasonic FS62 and wondering is it a good deal cause i dont quite understand what i`m buying

Got a few transcend myself for my sd camcorder always been fine.I would think theres a lot of fakes,But these should be spot on.

I've got one of these in my tomtom 720 storing my MP3 collection and photos - its one of the few SDHC cards that are compatible with tomtoms!
