V.good. Thanks for posting

The 64GB version is for £21.31

what's the read and write speed?

Bought a load of 8 Gb Transcend from Amazon for the same price five years ago. No problems with video, unlike some other 'class 10'chips have bought.

From the blurb

High-speed Performance

Fully Class 10 compliant, Transcend’s Ultimate SDHC cards help improve camera response with ultra-fast read/write transfer rates of up to 20/17 MB/s. This high performance not only prevents lag when recording 1920 x 1080 Full HD videos, but also allows fast-moving subjects to be captured in stunning detail.

Upto 45 read and 25 write by the looks of things.
Not sure about this or 64gb ultimate at 80/40 for £26

Seems to be two versions of this
Class 10 and uhs1. Uhs1 is 45/25 read write

Ordered 1, cheers OP

Buy at your own risk

I had a batch of transcend memory cards bought via Amazon (i.e official channel) , every single one has failed resulting in data loss.

Sandisk - Never one failure

I bought the 16GB one for £10 from Amazon the other day...SanDisk

Funny, I was just going to say how reliable I've found these cards, having used them consistently for the last 5 years or so (got some 16gb ones first, then got some 32gb ones a couple of years later but continued using the 16gb ones). Never had one fail or a single lost/corrupt file. Would highly recommend them for their quality and cost per GB. Can't deny that there will probably be bad batches out there somewhere, though.

Does this camel thing only show Amazon prices then? If so, in terms of bargain hunts, it's entirely meaningless.

Half as many pan this card as praise it on Amazon (1 star v 5 star) gave me pause, but bought it anyways for my Cowon D2, or my Lumix G10 (haven't decided which yet. Use the Cowon D2 more, but...)

Got several of these, all knackered now as the write protect switch has broken and flops about

If you need SD, get SD. Only get micro SD if you need micro SD.

Yup and I've had a Transcend one for about 3 years, never failed, so either they've gone bad or you're just unlucky or had a bad seller of fakes.

Oh wow!! I made a good choice. 5 days ago couldn't decide between this brand or Sandisk but I choose Sandisk as I knew their name better and heard good things. Was in such a pickle trying to choose one for my dslr camera but glad to hear I made the right choice!!

Would these be OK to install games on a Xbox?

I'm sure mymemory are selling Kingston class 10's for about £8?

Ordered one, thanks to the OP.(_;)

This would be fine for a phone right? I mean its compatible with the z1 which is what i have but all commends/feedback is about cameras which suggest this isn't really a memory card for phones?

Lazy boy. Do your own homework then and try googling it to see how it compares.

Most phones only take micro SD cards so this would not fit.

does the laptop sd card slot have USB3.0 kinda specifications? or will I get maximum utilisation from class10 card?

Yeah, I missed that lol.

I think I would opt for a Sandisk for a little extra, but that is a good deal if you require micro rather than SD, but the adaptor isn't a good option if you require the latter.

Check the reviews! Looks like they're quite okay

It's class 10 btw, and it has better write & read speeds than the Transcend SD card.

Cheaper, higher speeds and good reviews...

Great find, just ordered one, whooo hooo! thanks

They were bought direct from Amazon, so not an issue of fakes. You pay your money and take your choice, can't blame your stance if you have never had a failure though, but once you do you start to think otherwise...
