Would not recommend that. This is just a sata SSD in an enclosure, just …Would not recommend that. This is just a sata SSD in an enclosure, just buy an internal one instead as there are many available for a similar price. Not sure about this one, but many WD external 2.5" drives have soldered connections internally, so they can't be shucked in the same way as 3.5" drives.Similar price to internals as it's now increased to 97.40 I mean.

Can’t believe people are recommending ripping apart an external drive... just buy an internal one... you have offered sound advice

Can anyone recommend me an SSD to install into a PS4?
Would this be any good as a bootable external Mac ssd to replace an 2013 hdd booting drive? Gotten sluggish recently
Didn't know the 3 camels was back! Good news.

Can you install this internally?

Not as it is, you can probably shuck it though (take the disk out of the enclosure).

Up to £103?
Seems to have gone up again
98.46 now...still great price
I already have a usb3 sad enclosure with a 256gb ssd in but am looking to go to 1tb as I use it as my boot drive for my iMac. How would this compare to a crucial mx500 or a Samsung qvo as they are all similar prices and I already have a caddy?
So this is not 1TB divided by 1024? Not sure if I should go for it. Mixed reviews online and on YouTube. It’s a budget SSD and I’m concerned if it will be fast enough. I want it for my Xbox One X.
seems like a good price and the same speeds as the samsung T5, heard mixed ideas about what SSDs can do for xbox games. £42 for the 254Gb and £72 for the 500Gb compared to £87 for the 500gb T5
