Shaped as the famous Autobot icon, this USB Flash Drive comes in its very own metal box with unique identification number and a FREE copy of the blockbuster film. It also has 4GB of free space that you can use to store data with.

Video becomes unwatchable after 31.12.2010
- Voltro

It doesn't say that it says initial viewing must take place by 31.12.2010. My interpretation is that as long as you have watched it by then you can watch it again as many times as you want for as long as you want after then.

gone for this, cant grumble when its 4gb for a flash drive without the damn film!

heat given

Perfect for my geek brother

Perfection! Will be a great gift for someone I know!

Seems a great price if you want to own/ view it yourself, but the fact you need to open the package and 'initially view it on a given devlce' by 31.12.2010 doesnt make it much of a collectors item, as you'd need to keep it sealed to maximise its value to a collector. Catch 22.

That said, bargain if you're looking for this movie and can view it via one of the required methods. Good spot! H & R added.

Not sure it's been quite as low as this before, but it's been cheap for some time there.

They also had the Star Trek version a while ago, which has since sold out mymemory.co.uk/USB…ive which I got for under a fiver as a prezzie for the BIL.

thanks

This deal was posted (Paramount Pictures USB Flash Drives 4GB + Transformers revenge of the fallen - £4.99 my memory) by mofokiss 1 month, 4 days ago for £4.99 and it got to 858° so this deal being cheaper i can only assume it will get some major heat.

I ordered last time and will order again they make great pressies.
Thanks, heat added

good stocking filler

Cool, got one for my GFs son.

I watched this film just the other night after thoroughly enjoying the first one, and it leaves me with one question that I'll probably never get an answer to.....

Mr Bay, what the hell did you do to my Transformers?

To be fair, it doesn't change the fact this is still a good deal.

Nice one, needed a usb stick anyway. The film is a bonus. Hot!

Got this last time it was posted @ £4.99, now it's 50p cheaper

Great for £4.49! It's a bit plasticky but still great for the price. The star trek one was made out of metal and weighed a ton.

Dont forget quid-co!

Is this a good price for just the USB? Because, the film is gonna get deleted, it's awful.

This is a super deal just for the 4GB flash drive!!

HOWEVER - the one i received had a note about how the film needs activating on DivX by December 31 2010 - if it's a Chrimbo pressie they'll need to set up their account and activate the code pronto or else the film may not be viewable post-2010.

As an aside DivX is a terribly inaccessible way of watching the film.

Does this mean you have to use it up on the 6 device by this date, or just initiate on just 1 device.?

Whats wrong with it?

Got this for my grandson when it was posted last time, even better value now.

How can the movie be transfered to and played on an iphone?

That doesn't make any sense as a collector will not open the packaging anyway to watch the film as they are buying it as a collectors item! Collectors dont buy something like this to ever use so it doesnt matter if the film doesnt function after 31/12/2010.

So its 4gb free space + transformers?
I have no interest in ever watching either transformers film so how much extra space will it give me when I delete the film?

Tad confusing as the tech spec says:

"Special 4GB ‘insignia’ USB stick with 3GB free storage"

So it would actually seem that the movie takes up a Gb and the rest is free to use

I really like this deal. Bought one earlier but just bought another. Surely the perfect stocking filler!

Thank OP.

Have just bought 3, 1 for me and 2 for gifts

Thanks. Great price for a cool looking usb drive - bought one. I will wipe the film & just use as a usb drive tho. Got the Star trek one when it was on offer previously. Thought the video quality was not great.

Great price but it doesn't look like it has a ring to attach to a key ring

its a shame they dont put a hd quality film on

Bought this as a christmas present for someone, did have to open the packaging to do the initial viewing but that was quite painless, you sign up for a divx account then click play on the film, then deregister the device you are on and it's good as new.

Build quality is okay, cheap plastic but it should hold together, the top part of the autobot pulls out and that's the actual stick, the rest of the logo is the cap. Inside the code for viewing redemption is on a cardboard sd card (obviously doesn't function as an sd card).

adamcm - Yes it is a good price for a usb drive but it's pretty slow, less than 5mb write speed (says 3mb on the site) and though read was faster it wasn't amazing, maybe 10mb). So okay if you don't mind waiting a bit to copy files.

dodoegg - The total size of the drive is 4gb and the movie takes up just less than 1gb so you have 3gb free unless you want to format it.

royalbre - yes the video quality is not brilliant on this either, especially considering it is a bigger file than most xvid rips, must be the authentication it has in it. Previously when it was on others also said it is a bit more system intensive than normal vids too.

tallpete33 - no, no ring just the logo

Bought. Thanks OP, ideal for my lad.

Thanks got one for uni.

I have a friend that wants the film, and I don't want it. Can I copy it to his PC, give him the activation code then delete it off the transformers USB? I'll probably get a beer out of it if this is possible so can anyone confirm?

Not sure, but would be interesting to know.

If not, you can use it on up to 6 devices, pcs/laptops/divx certified players so you or him setup a divx account and activate it then you can both watch it I believe. Legally it should probably only be one person and if that worries you then just get him to activate it (as I mentioned you can activate on one pc then deauthorise that pc making the license numbers back to 6)

Mine turned up this morning, looks really good...Surprised its still in stock at this price, have ordered an other

out of stock now.
