Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: The IMAX Big Screen Experience

This 'Exclusive IMAX Big Screen Limited Edition' version is roughly a minute longer (featuring extended fight sequences) and will "open up" the aspect ratio during IMAX film scenes

This is like the dark knight blu-ray, with the key imax scenes, it's a usa exclusive to Wallmart, region free so will play on uk blu-ray players.
Also it's in movietymes 3 day shipping service!

Reasons for cold please?
Or a link to a store other than ebay selling THIS VERSION cheaper?

Hmm. Not voted either way, but I can't really see how anyone without an IMAX screen in their living room would benefit from this. I'm not sure it's worth paying the extra £10+ for the extra minute, but I'm sure someone may go for it!

Would never pay that amount for a Blu-ray, especially for a very long and imo boring film with a very undramatic ending.

You dont need an imax screen to get the benefit of the imax scenes.....
Michael Bay chose to shoot selected scenes for 'Revenge of the Fallen' in IMAX format, which has a larger film frame size and captures much more detail. In IMAX theaters, the bulk of the movie was projected at an aspect ratio of 2.40:1 letterboxed on the giant 1.44:1 screen, but the special IMAX scenes expanded vertically to fill the screen.
Here is a link to the review of this very version..... bluray.highdefdigest.com/278…tml

£10 more for a limited edition is not unusual but you are only getting a minutes extra fight scene.. so its a little hard to justify.

not being able to find it cheaper doesn't mean its a deal for everyone, and as mentioned unless u have a massive TV then there little point.

not going to vote on this, its not a hot deal.. but its not bad for a limited edition

from link above post:-

"the Wal-Mart exclusive Big Screen Edition Blu-ray is slightly better than the standard release, and is the preferred option of the two."

Don't the fight scenes go on too long as it is in this film? I loved the film hated all the long drawn out fights.

HAHA! That review sais only 32 seconds added to the film. 22 of which is in the forest fight.

So you get 32 extra seconds of fighting and every now and then you get black bars on the sides of the screen rather than the top and bottom? Without wishing to judge, surely only the geekiest of geeks would need this...

such a shame as this could have been a great film, i loved the 1st saw it 4 times at the movies.

This was a BIG let down!

What's the coldest deal ever?

I wish they went much more into the story of transformers. I did watch alot of cartoons and would love for them to go into the rivalry of starscream and megatron, go into what happened at their home planet, what happened with bumblebee etc etc.

megan fox bent over a motorbike in IMAX - ORDERED!

megan fox on the bike is not in IMAX.......................unfortunately

i've seen this, and it's quite annoying how it changes back and forth from imax to standard and back again for the scenes. not like batman dark night where whole sections were shot in IMAX

very cold.

got this blu ray for about £18 before the uk release from

bluraysforeveryone.com/app…865

The imax part is very good, worth a little extra, but not what movietyme wants for it. Never had any problem with ordering bu ray, games online apart from this company. Kept me waiting for my order for over a month, estimated dispatch date gets put back every day, cancelled and ordered elsewhere is the end result. Wouldn't use them again,

btw, as long as the price of your order is under £18, no tax is due.

Yes, agree...

Want imax, get the dark knight. Bargain at the current amazon price.

First ever blu ray i bought, used it to demo my sound system at the hifi centre. rented it, than ordered a copy straight away. One of the best blu rays to demo sound and vision.

Rubbish movie and not worth £27.99 cold

No Michael Bay film is worth this much. Fiver tops. A rule I've stuck to and it's worked for me.

Or buy the bluray from Walmart themselves, for $19.96 plus associated costs. walmart.com/cat…009

OK, it's probably not exactly the same.... and I don't want it ....
