Harming their brand, oh, I thought it was who paid.

Cheaper at ShopTo;

Personally I think it is worth paying extra from John Leiws/Richer Sounds etc for the 5-6 year warranties on offer. I intend on picking up this TV once it hits sub £1200, hopefully in April/May.

Super hot price for what sounds to be a great TV. I'd personally be nervous buying from such a small company but hot on price.

Have you given them a ring? I gather a couple of people cancelled their orders when they offered the raised price, so there might be one or two going still (unless they put those at a higher price).

Yea, Ive put a lot of time into reseaching the best TV for the £500 mark, this is the best I have found. Gets very good reviews. Here is the 40inch model reviewed at HDTVtest.
The fact that its 200Hz (CMR (Clear Motion Rate) High frequency rate 400 Hz) was what sold it for me, plus best Smart features about and quad core processor = very usable (very little lag) features. The 3D is a bonus.

I noticed that on Trust pilot. Real shame. They accept Paypal so that might give some protection.

Regarding the TV in question in the post, nothing on Trustpilot (https://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/www.transparent-uk.com) which is a shame, as this is a TV I really want (it's either this or the sony 50" W8)

So for the same money you'd get a machine that has a significantly slower last gen CPU + smaller HDD just because it has Windows 7 pre-installed instead of getting the better machine & loading W7 on there yourself?
I know you have to obtain a copy of W7, but if you need legit, you can get a license for around £50.

I just don't understand the logic.
Surely a faster cpu/igpu, bigger hard drive & generally newer model machine is worth the possible extra cost?

HP have confirmed this seller is fine, but the seller has confirmed that his stock is not eligible for the cashback offer. expired

Prompt email answer from HP promotions:

Hi

Thank you for your mail.

The one from Amazon would not be eligible as the seller is actually MiniPrice Express who are not a HP Business Partner and are not even based in the UK.

With regards to PC World and Transparent, as long as they have purchased the products for resale from one of HP’s authorised distribution partners in the UK and all purchases are made in accordance with the other terms and conditions regarding sourcing and special pricing there should not be an issue with your claim.

Please be aware that HP do verify all serial numbers before approval.

Kind Regards

N36L and NOT the N54L.

Bad form Peter, bad form.

SKU: 633724-421 - no cashback - different SKU!

Be careful with this as I think its the N36L version not the N54L version the OP have stated. Check the specifications here

...but as far as I can see they are listed under Transparent Communications Ltd as a HP reseller here
