Can confirm, I think this is worth a watch if you like Scandi style noir dramas ...beautiful countryside and believable characters...thought the police chief Andri was really sympathetic and relatable without being a overly intense caricature, or having some typical police inspector vice. The story keeps you guessing and despite not having a clue about the Icelandic language, its an intriguing one to listen to and don't be put off by subtitles:) Second season I didn't think was as good, but I watched this one a couple of times and enjoyed it.

Thanks for info I love subtitles films and TV show so all good
No probs...I spent some time working out in Iceland and loved it there, and its great to see a show that captures the environment. I'm watching a similar style french crime series at the moment called Spiral and can recommend that too

It's also on prime video if you have it
Just seen this on amazon prime and it’s well worth watching.
This series is brilliant, especially so if you've visited Iceland.
Watched this when it was on TV, good series.
