Very good price for this.

How do I get the May ticket?

Used to know a lad who did this on the buses, bought his self a kerching and would sit on a bus all day long, he loved the school holidays

For anybody who has no idea what I am talking about:

Ooh, I remember these. Used to use the Day Rover tickets all day in the holidays to travel all over West Yorkshire. Not sure how far you'd get for 30p these days though !

Nice of them to exclude anything remotely approaching the South West. Thank you 'South West Trains'!

Wow was only thinking earlier why are there barely any travel incentives ever on hukd and here you've posted one. Heat added

It definitely isn't "Travel anywhere on the South West Network..." That suggests they are selling a Day Rover ticket to wander the network at will - eg the way London Midland often do in their half-term/holiday offers with Great Escape Rovers.

This offer is simply a regular "Off Peak Day Return" ticket (between Stations A and B) for £12 instead of usual £
Thus Weymouth-London usually £62.40 for a OPDR (involving 2 x 3 hours of travel) would be quite a saving.

Before anyone books through this I would recommend seeing if tickets are cheaper for you through megatrain.com. This is only if you're travelling to/from London Waterloo.

For example you can get a ticket to London from southampton from as low as £1 plus 50p booking fee. However these are only available on certain train times so not as flexible as the above.

This works out less than a single! Travelling home (London) from a cruise (arriving back into Southampton) in a couple of weeks, so will save me several £££'s. Thanks so much for posting! xxx

Nice one

This is a good deal. it will knock about 70% off a day return to London from where I live in Hampshire (saving about £20). Everyone STOP MOANING!!

Good for me for £12 return to London from Salisbury. Heated.

Check planned engineering works first, it is South West Trains after all

Excellent, thanks. Post this as a deal if it's not already done!

If it’s anything like it was the other week, you could spend the whole day getting from London Bridge to London Bridge, via London Bridge.

Great find, thanks! How come I can go from Bournemouth to London for £12 but not Bournemouth to Portsmouth? It's on their network?

Big up the Bournemouth MASSIVE!! X)

I'm new to this train thing. Will this be valid for travel to the Isle of Wight? Say from Reading? I can only see very expensive offers online.

Example Nxt Friday Reading to Southampton leave Reading after 9am = £38 return for 2 adults. Then you need to get ferry to Isle of Wight. Red funnel ferries to IOW west cowes ( prices vary) from Southampton ( abit of a walk from train station). You can also get train to Lymington or Portsmouth and get Wightlink ferry but SW trains to these destinantions are from about £54 return for 2 adults.
