Thanks, bargain, ordered. Another Christmas filler, to make it look like I've spent a lot of money....

Considered using Quidco to get a further 12p off, but decided not to bother - I guess I'm just a wild devil-may-care kind of guy!

Reserved 2 of these at my local Currys store (Ashford). After returning home from collecting these hairdryers I noticed that they were not the 2000w as listed on the currys website but ones of 1200w and no accessories. I tried the ring the 0844 number on my receipt to see if they had the correct ones in stock but after being on hold for 25 minutes gave up. I made another trip to the store to exchange these for the correct 2000w hairdryers to be told that such an item does not exist! I explained that I had reserved the correct items on their website and the manager checked this in front of me and the item number for the 2000w hairdryer is not valid! So after he gave me a full refund and an apology I left without any hairdryers! Would be interested to know if anyone managed to get the correct 2000w hairdryer?

Probably gave you the wrong ones??? These are the 1200Ws

Collected and paid for mine (different store) before I checked it and realised it was only a 1200W hairdyer - spoke to the manager and he said they never had the 2000W E12THD10 - it was a web mistake (or false advertising -who knows) left with wrong hairdryer after paying for petrol and time! The dryer is per the picture except wattage is incorrect. Should be 1200W and 2 heat/speed settings (that is what is on the package).

Still a ripper of a deal if I don't have to spend £250 return on the tube to pick it up.

Despite possible web mistake I've ordered one for delivery. Thanks OP, heat added.

Can anyone confirm which one they ordered? It's gone up slightly in price but I'm off on hols in 2 weeks so I need to buy one!
