Agreed, I met my current "girlfriend" in Budapest in May. Shes from Serbia which is their neighboring country but she is better looking and mannered than most of the girls here in the UK.

It's OK they have SGR & IATA, similar equivalent.

I queried it ages ago & got this email back from them - As a Dutch company TravelBird B.V. is registered under the Dutch Chamber of Commerce registration number 32169836. TravelBird B.V. is a registered participant of SGR, the Dutch travel guarantee fund. You can verify this on sgr.nl/gua…eme. Under SGR’s guarantee, consumers shall have their prepaid travel sum refunded if their counterparty is unable to fulfill its contractual obligations due to financial inability. Insofar as the agreement includes the transport and the destination has already been reached, the return trip will be arranged.
This has been on our website for a couple of months now, so it is all still fairly new!

The dungeon is not included and costs 9 GBP extra on the day or 7.50 if you call them.If you go by train they do the national rail 2 for 1 offer. There are no gates at the train station.Check the timetable on their website they do a lot of stuff in the summer and don't miss the archery display and the trebuchet. Edited by: "millarcat" 9th Mar 2016

If you have Tesco vouchers then would suggest using them for cheap tickets to WMSP (£5.50/person) which includes a free return visit.

Holiday Inn Express prices for certain dates could be as little as £45 for an advance purchase family room (Membership price; but IHG membership is free to sign up to); buffet breakfast is normally included at the Holiday Inn Express'

I'm planning on visiting at the start of April, Friday night stay for 2 people and 2 tickets to WMSP has "cost" me £45 (Hotel) + £11 (vouchers).

Does mean you have to forward plan and hope weather is good on the day (cancellation not included in the cheap rooms of course, and have Tesco vouchers to spare...might not appeal to all but worth looking into. Even if you're a family of 4,staying on a Saturday night maybe, you could (da specific i'm sure, i only checked Saturday 2nd April) would potentially be £59.40 + £22 so slightly cheaper than the Travelbird offer; if you're looking to use Tesco vouchers of course.
(An alternative to consider is Premier Inns; no breakfast included but advanced bookings can be as cheap as £35/night)

Original Poster Editor

I've just had a look on the West Midlands Safari Park website and here's the prices for tickets alone on fixed dates (which give 25% off)

2 Adults - Total: £44.00
2 Adults & 2 Children - Total: £78.00

So £119 for a family of four and a one stay and breakfast in the offer in the OP is really good.

I normally don't write reviews. But this dayout gave me so much … I normally don't write reviews. But this dayout gave me so much frustration and i decided to write one. When we arrived we did not know what to do and where to go. Arrived at 10am but given a time slot at 3pm. You have to book a time slot for a tour which does not taken even 2hrs. So we had our snacks and We saw a person calling for kids about the Magic show entertainment trying hard not to make adults and kids bored. In the tour they have 2 large screens which shows history of Cadubury family, and how the chocolate is made. Basically you-tube videos. They make you wait and ask you take pictures with a nice looking young lady dressed up in victorian days, don't know the connection. In the tour which is boring you will see they is a Face Painting lady to drag your day and kids obviously attracted which costs a fiver per kid. What is the need for face painting in the middle of tour. Then behind the glass windows a robot machine packing chocolates into boxes, this is maximum you can see a factory. Then the worst ever family photo session with certain backgrounds costs 15 pounds. At the end one lady showing chocolate carving on a table. Thats it. Worst day out of my life. Costs 45 pounds for family of 4 and high cost of finger food. They attraction should be banned in order to save peoples hard earned money.

P

I booked this few weeks ago off a living social deal, wish i had of waited now as this cheaper

Our family visited recently and had a very enjoyable day. Our daughter is in a wheelchair...access was brilliant, a specially adapted car is available on the cadabra ride and the staff couldnt have been more helpful. I wouldnt say its a day out but certainly a nice morning or afternoon trip. Only complaint was that the wheelchair accessible outside play area was a small consisting of 2 decked areas joined by a bridge. Not very exciting.

I live not far away and heard it's ****!

Its Rubbish Save your Money. The UK never should have sold Cadbury

Have you? Where in the OP does it say that Hatfield - record shops and shopping malls included - is the deal? It's an overnight stay in a hotel in Hatfield that forms only a very small part of the deal - not the whole town.

Having been shown by someone who has actually experienced this deal - publandlord - to be an unreliable source of "advice", and also illogically basing your "knowledge" of another individual's experience of a location based solely on where they live, you've now taken to pointless sniping. Good lord but Freud would have have his work cut out with you.

I can imagine this will get rather hot when people get home from work and … I can imagine this will get rather hot when people get home from work and think it's quite cheap to go and visit relatives for a couple of days - or is it the case that most of those here working come from villages rather than a large city, so it's not long enough for family visits ?I'm fairly well informed about one nearby country, and that's exactly the scenario there - life in the cities is not too bad so locals manage well enough, but the villages are a different story entirely and so a huge proportion of working age residents have left for foreign lands. They never readily admit to being from a village ( 'Villager' can be a term of abuse) and only by persistent questions or someone who recognizes regional accents, can you get the truth.Anyway, I'm genuinely interested for a few different reasons as to whether this deal will appeal to those with family over there ?

I think the main reason this won't appeal to Polish ex-pats is that when visiting family, the hotel part of this deal is redundant. If you're visiting mama or babcia, then you'll stay with then or risk giving offence. So then the only valid of the deal is the flights and they can be found cheaply any day of the week.

Would a person of colour enjoy the experience?

When I came back from Szczecin to London Stansted there were a large number of black etc people catching the flight. From over hearing conversations, most people seemed to have had a good time. Black people are rather unusual in Poland. On the other hand, the usual rules of politeness apply.

I think that it is a reasonable question to ask.

darren9030

I guess you're a Warsaw expert ? I have been to all those cities you … I guess you're a Warsaw expert ? I have been to all those cities you mentioned ( on more than one occasion ) & Warsaw is my favourite. As you've obviously been to the Copernicus science centre , Warsaw Uprising Museum , experienced the free concerts in the old town & Lazienki Park you must disagree (_;)

If that's the way you want to take it... I've lived in Warsaw for five years, Poland for ten, I've visited all of those cities plus many others multiple times, visited all the attractions you mention and I've shown multiple groups of family and friends different parts of Poland. I don't think that makes my opinion more valid, but from the tone of your reply to Tatanka, perhaps you think it does.

As it happens, I agree with him more than you. I wouldn't call visiting Warsaw a waste of time, it has its attractions, but for a tourist there are many Polish towns and cities which are prettier, easier to get around, cheaper, friendlier and less reconstructed.

By the way, if anyone is visiting Warsaw at the end of this month, check out restaurantweek.pl - 3 course set menus for under £7 at some of Warsaw's best restaurants. I'd post it as a hot deal here, but it's not really 'UK'!

Some bloody harsh comments on Northern Ireland and pareticularly Belfast, based on a stereotype best suited in the 80s, I am 34 and work in Belfast and until recent years frequented Belfast nearly every weekend. I can honestly say I have never been shot at, asked what my religion is (apart from Government surveys), been kneecapped, been approcahed by a guy in a baliclava, been stopped by the poilce or chased by people in green or orange sashes etc in my entire time living here and being a Northern Irelander.

However I have been to Liverpool twice and was on the receiving end of an attempted mugging (he attempted to hold me up with a plastic knife and I told him to **** off) on one occasion and got head butted by a drunken skinhead on the other occasion. I would always suggested to anyone who hasn't been over here recently to come, its a place for a getwaway, all be it a short one. Yes the weather is unpredictable but you will recieve a warm welcome in most places you go, you will also get a decent pink of Guinness, somethign which seems rare on the mainland.

Rather pay the extra and at least enjoy the game

Been going to Chiang Mai and Thailand since 82....never had a problem in all that time.
Local folk wherever you go in Thailand are friendly.
Only ever did a tour once...never again...not one for being shepherded around in tourist buses to snake farms/teak factories/crocodile farms/nightlife ...been there done it.....no as soon as I get into Bangkok I hire a motorbike/hop on it and go wherever I fancy and always off the beaten track...going in January for six weeks...can't **** wait.
Love the place/food/people/culture.

Incompetence plus corruption with a trainwreck approaching, agree there. Honestly though the tax/jet ski mafia are more of a problem for the vast majority of tourists going to Phuket. Cesspit ? If you want sparkly clean then Singapore is the only country in the region. Just get expensively bored after day 2.

I hope you are enjoying that sheltered existence!

This is not a deal. SE Asia is so cheap and easy to travel around that over a grand would get you so much more than this offer.

sorry I have to vote cold because it's not really a good deal. if you plan the flights and accomodation yourself, it works out cheaper. Asia isn't very expensive.

ZOMG. Too much.

You'll need a holiday after that lot.
