just had our easter £9 rooms, excellent value the breakfast costs us £13 for 4 ,have used many travelodges and for the price can't go wrong.

Sales figures must need a boost again. Just remember to check from tea time the previous evening, although last time I think the sale started at about 3am.

Hopefully they'll have a hotel in London.

Does anyone know if you can get three in a room for this...it would be great to take my sons away while partner is still working.
Would it be allowed. We have shared a double before.
Anyone had experience of this before.
Thanks

your 2 kids will slepp on a sofa. you need to ask for thier bedding when you check in cos the lazy *****ers don't put it in your room for you.

I had to cart my kids bedding to a travelodge annexe last week - i wasn't impressed.

take your pet dog/s for 20 quid extra per stay

dogs for disabled free, of course

whats the best travelodge near to alton towers as i would love to take my kids for the day just too far to drive in one day

Uttoxeter is the main one, but a new one opened last December at Ashbourne.

Steve.

Shan't be in a position to book anything on first day, as we shall be away - staying at a Travelodge booked on last offer!
Wonder if it is worth paying for wi-fi access?

Their WIFI is a rediculous price and is not always very good. Be better off buying a dongle from one of the phone companies. I have a 3 one and have best success in travelodges around uk with it lol.
Gonna have to book something for October half term me thinks

Avoid Alfreton its very small and most family rooms are down stairs. We had a baby and my 11 year old and could barely fit the travel cot in. Also no lifts so carrying baby, luggage, pushchair and everything else up and down stairs was a pain. Your also stuck with Little Thief to eat in as its on a motorway.

Hot from me, cheers

Ah, that would explain why every time I try and get one of these offers I get ****ed over. Nice of them to start when they say they're going to!

Hot offer if you can get any rooms!

Anyone know where in central london is a reasonable hotel. want to go with the kids to see the sights.

We stayed in Docklands.........parked car for full week without moving it(you moved it you might lose your place..very busy)....and got a pass for trains/underground, cant remember price of pass, but well worth it....

:x Having running e-mail battle with them to let me pay the old rate of £10 since i booked my rooms nearly a year before they increased them to £20
When you book 3 diferent travelodges for one holiday its not nice paying £60 extra for beloved mutt :x

Rant over......Great room prices though so voted hot

Avoid Kings Cross (Royal Scott) or Liverpool Street - Both run down & very basic

I think you should win this hands down if you paid when booking, otherwise paying on arrival with "right to cancel" i would imagine going rate will apply........

And I know this will upset all you dog lovers(as you are a law unto yourselves) , but i'd hate to think i was going into a room where a dog had been on the carpet and bed setee....especially if taking young children in...

I think they should be given a kennel outside...or in the basement..

I hate this ****ing firm. They admitted taking double of my money (after ringing a ridculously priced phone line), gave me a pissing voucher that didnt work once, and which has now expired.

So I lost £60 and some hair >_>

I've been to the travelodge in Southwark only a few weeks ago. Small room and the view was of the train tracks. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Didn't hear that much noise for the trains tho.

i have to agree with leadhead i think it's disgusting to think that people sleep in the same bed as a dog.....mind you there are some smelly people out there too!!! :whistling:

Anyone tried the 10 euro rooms in spain before anyway near as bad as the rooms in the UK?

Don't go to the central one, the parking is about £7.50 for 24 hours & there's nowhere else cheap to park. The staff are unpleasant & there's mould growing on all the bedroom ceilings (we asked to change rooms twice, but all 3 were the same).

The Bristol Severn View M48 one is very nice, they are happy to give you extra pillows, towels, tea/coffee etc... The rooms are nice & although its on the motorway, its sort of just off it so its not noisy at night. A lady working there told us there's a nice little pub in the village a short walk away which is supposed to do good food (although we haven't been there), and burger king is next door. Parking is free & there's plenty of space.

Stayed at Barcelona a couple of months ago, exactly the same as the UK
Anyone thinking about booking there, its quite a distance from Barca centre

Last time I got a £9 room I stayed in York - was fab. Took laptop and connected to the free wifi that Wetherspoons had next door... if you're going to a city centre it's always worth trying a free connection, the price is silly money I think... x
