Oh noes! How will we cope without aircon in January and February!
Great location. Stayed there many times! Very safe area, I have been out at the pubs and bars in the surrounding area. The Brewdog place, with the shuffle board alley is worth a stop as is the Hung Drawn and Quartered.

Little tip, Whetherspoon's is right across the street and does a far better breakfast than the Travelodge for half the price.
Per night thats cheaper than my mortgage.

Stopped here a few times, always reasonably priced. The staff are great, as is the location for a walk by the Thames and nearby Tate Gallery.

Anyone know how this one compares to the little one in Fulham? Looking for a centrally located one to do central London sights.

You thinking a couple or a family trip? It's fairly quiet, so will be fine for either.

Although this is central London, it's just behind the main road. You'll have a good time. My wife and I stayed here to watch a gig at the o2 last January (2019) and it was great. The over priced bar wasn't visited thanks to the collection of great bars around you.

£23.99 in London Acton. Not as good location, but I stayed there for visiting London on budget before. Close to Central Line, and parking (pay by phone/app) available.

Wouldn’t recommend Fulham Travelodge it’s too far out for the sights although more central are more expensive you will save on time and travel costs also early morning during commuter times you will struggle to get on tube at Fulham Broadway

How close is this to the main shops please.
Want to go and see Harrods.
Great area to stay in London, stayed there (but in Premier Inn) for work and really enjoyed going out in the evening.

The other side of London to Harrods but easily accessible by tube. Sense of irony...budget Travelodge and shopping in Harrods

Acton is my goto London Travelodge as it's one of the new high-spec ones (aircon, USB sockets everywhere, big Samsung telly etc). Booked it for £52 for 2 nights Sat & Sun mid February a couple of days ago.

As it's Zone 2 it's in the cheap £7 "zones 1 and 2" for the tube.

We stayed there in December and paid £24 as per a previous deal posted on here. Cracking price for a London hotel with good connections in to all areas. Worth checking the City Road location too as they tend to run similar deals. Rooms are fairly small as you'd expect, but if you're there for a visit to the capital and just need somewhere to put your head down they're perefectly comfortable and saves you paying absolutely extortiante rates of other places.
Can someone help me out which travel lodge on that list is close to London city centre as I’d love to visit oxford street please thank you

Might be just wanting to take a look, not buy anything. I’ve done that before.
That's near my house. It's not that bad an area at all. Lots of things to do and transport nearby; a bargain for that price.
Ahhh such a shame it is just sundays. Heat added though great find op.

Maybe you should extend your term to more than five years. The interest won't be that much on £50k...

Good to know! Travelodge Finsbury Park is pretty good also and in the 1-2 zone also.
For Premier Inn's as far as I can tell, it would be Archway and Putney Bridge within Zone 2 where prices can sometimes be at a reasonable rate. I tend to travel out to Zone 4 for the new Premier Inn Wembley Stadium which is nice, but that doesn't work during matchdays.

The quality can vary between Travelodges but if it's not bad at the Travelodge in question, it's better value if you're quite hungry.

Warning !!! It’s cheap because work is being done on the railway tracks which are right beside it during the night. Stayed there in December and there were signs warning of this.
We stayed here in a family room in October half term. It is right next to the train line. We got a room on the side facing onto the road and it was triple glazed so no noise issues at all. It is pretty basic, no air con, standard shower room but for the location and price it is decent. Like others have said there is a weatherspoons over the road and plenty of cafe type places open for office workers during the week. I would go again provided it wasn't going to be hot and we were not on the train side.

Sorry cold from me, it's London! Only joking, not voted, but it's still London.

London City on Middlesex St above and beyond. Usually cheap if you're flexible on dates!

You don't need to spend money in Horrids to have a fun day out. Some of the "fashion" in there is hilarious. Better than a West End comedy. Then look at the price tags for an extra jolt of lols.
Do you know if these rooms are ok for a family of 4 or are they too small ? Even at this price I could take my camping mattress !

Family rooms are fine if all you're planning to do is use them as a base to sleep/wash.
