I wish they'd let you search by price. The search engine asks you where and when you want to go but I don't know yet. I want to go where and when there's a £29 room! They used to have like a calendar with the locations down the left and dates across the top. The cheap rooms were highlighted in orange. Wish they'd bring that back!

We operate a relocation policy. If a room is unavailable on arrival (other than due to an event beyond our reasonable control – see paragraph J6 below) then we agree to either:A) provide a room, and subject to availability any equivalent Extras which you have booked, in another Travelodge hotel and pay the reasonable cost of transport to that alternative hotel or any applicable car park charges;

I had this happen to me in York but they were very good about it, rang me prior to arriving, offered a couple of alternatives and they paid the extortionate parking I was going to incur. Sometimes it can't be helped, in my case the previous guest had trashed the room, any hotel would be in the same position.
if you want to stay Tuesday, 50 miles form nowhere yeah, £29 - anything else is silly prices
Expire the deal. I've just spent £14,500,000 and booked every room out of boredom.

Agree. would be nice to see exactly where and when the £29 rooms are available.. I have wasted so much time searching that its now put me off looking at their website and i will un-subscribe from their mail list.. R U LISTENING TRAVELODGE
Try Sunday nights, you will find plenty of £29 rooms there.

Or Motorway service hotels seem to have good availability most days of the week and plenty of £29 rooms there. Otherwise, they are scattered around.

Also, this Marketing Email gets fired out every other week, seems to be a standard thing now. Nothing new to see here... move on..
Thanks great deal got 2 rooms 2 nights with breakfast on a weekend for £241

That’s pretty amazing
Ahhhhh travelodge where they overbook and you run the risk of someone walking in on you! Love it!
Give Travelodge Moor Street Birmingham a wide berth. Not a nice area at all to stay. E.g. druggies, smells of pee and people up to no good.
Even the reception isn't manned, you have to call them to come out from behind locked doors.

The room wasn't bad and bed was pretty good. Don't bother with the Business room marketing as the WiFi is not good/drops/poor speed e.g. 2.56mbps

Just booked city centre one in Newcastle for £19.99
I think it depends on where you book whether they are disgusting or not. The ones I use (central london) definitely have a cheap feel - the Fairmont they are not - but they are functional, and clean.

Then again, I’m only using them for casual sex hook ups.
