That's the mainland Chinese airlines, despite the name China Airlines they are actually based in Taiwan and their hub is Taipei, which is a completely separate democratic country, and western backed. Apparently the country broke away from mainland China in the 1940's and China refuses to accept them as a separate country. Taiwan is apparently also know at the Republic of China and as opposed to Mainland China which is known officially as the People's Republic of China. Taiwan - Wikipedia (highfive) Enough about Geo-Politics!

Unfortunately deluxe budget is already a thing. Virgin introduced new classes of Economy this year - Light (no luggage), Classic, and Delight (extra legroom), and that is before Premium Economy!

out of curiosity..... Why your next flight may go via China :-

The flight is around 12.5-13 hours on the London to Taipei sector, with 4 hour stopover and around 8 hours on the Taipei to Sydney sector... Economy seats are 32 inch seat pitch and 18 inches wide. BA by comparison is around a 30 inch seat pitch and 17-17.5 inch wide seats, but might be slight variations depending on aircraft type. (Don't ask me why its quoted in inches.) Not sure how cheap China Airlines economy flights are. With China Airlines, once you have received your e-ticket from Travel Pack, you can go to the airlines website and immediately choose your seats for free, and allows you to view all flights, choose meal options if have a dietary requirement and add frequent flyer details if a member of a SkyTeam airline program. (Well this is the case for Premium Economy, so guess the same for Economy too?!)

You are correct, there are 31 seats! I will immediately update the post. Below is an image of the seating plan of Premium Economy in blue and a link to China Airlines website with full details of the aircrafts seating plan. China Airlines - A350-900 Seat Map. The seats in Premium Economy/Deluxe Budget/Oxymoron class, are a hard back shell seat, which means the seats in front do not recline into your space. You slide the seat forward and it will recline. The seats are 20 inches wide, 39 inch pitch and offer 129 degree recline.

Alchemista Taj Mahal is a £100 return flight to Delhi then a train ride.Goa is good for a base if you are staying in India for months. I rent apartment in Goa for £125 a month with swimming pool and 2 balcony. Then when i want to go see the "real India" i just book a cheap flight with Spice Jet airways. Cheekywelshguy. Its much too humid in April ,February is a great month to go . Last year i went from 5th Feb till 26 May and May, it was just unbearable, the humidity just knocks you out and laying on the beach is a no no as its too hot .I have my own scooter out there and it was too hot to go out on it !

I flew with first choice in April about 6 years ago, the flight out was nearly empty probably an 1/8 th full, we had rows of seats to ourselves!! Coming back was busier as many of the English workers were coming home as its the end of the season.

and Pakistans all fun and games isn't it?

Goa is in the south whereas the sites you probably want to see are more northernly. Its about 2.5 hours flight from Delhi and flights are not as cheap as you might think they would be. I wouldnt recommend flying to Goa if you want to do an Indian tour for instance.

Fantastic price without a doubt, but please bear in mind Monarch have terrible, terrible seat pitch - one of the worst in the industry at 29" (the same as Easyjet). For long haul flights this is unacceptable in my opinion, and having flown with them once, I vowed never to again. There's a full list of seat pitches here if anyone is interested:
