Great chance to get a decent starter 29er mountain bike, for a steal. Currently has 21% off the £500 RRP, but use BIKES10 to bring it down an additional £39.50. Free collection from your local store subject to stock, or ordered into that store for you!

The frame is really great for the money, and could be improved upon over time with upgrades here and there.

Forgot to mention, in stock for frame sizes 15.5" / 17.5" / 19" / 21", and here's a linky to the specs trekbikes.com/uk/…in/

Also worth noting that Trek have a Lifetime warranty on their frames, as long as you're the original owner

That was my bad, hadn't put retailer in title. Doh.

I want this bike so bad

Not bad, but don't fancy having to service that fork after every wet ride as bikeradar suggests to prevent it locking up.

I'd probably spend a bit more and get something with a better fork from the start.

Damn, I thought I finally found my new bike!

Do you have a particular alternative in mind?

yeah, it's expired...I've expired it but it doesnt seem to work! If you want a 26" from trek try to get a 4 series, very little more and generally much better kit inc forks etc. For example something like this one evanscycles.com/pro…069 would of been a steal at £360, keeping an eye out for a code so a family member can snap one of these up!
