Won’t bow. Don’t know how. Amid the ruins of an American city, ordinary people--musicians, chefs, residents--find themselves clinging to a unique culture and wondering if their city still has a future. From the creators of The Wire comes a new, acclaimed series about adversity and the human spirit, set in New Orleans, in the aftermath of the greatest man-made disaster in American history. Welcome to Treme.

never heard of this, is it any good?

Original Poster

It's a HBO drama series about the lives of struggling artists and musicians in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, made by David Simon who did the Wire. Just ordered it myself, but heard very good things.

Its no where near as good as the wire, then again its completely different lol. But its worth watching, lots of storylines all going on at the same time, on season 2 in America now.

Is it usual HBO - ie full of swearing and nudity? Not that that's a bad thing of course.
