They are referring to this Flexispot one at £249.99

amazon.co.uk/gp/…SYT

If you want to save even more you can just by the same desk frame from Flexispot direct for £161.99 (apply code Flexispot10).

flexispot.co.uk/fle…tml

Then pick up a desk top you like from ikea from as little as £24 saving a fair chunk of change and getting a nice looking desk in the process.

I mean not to be a deal ruiner but you can get a very similar desk delivered to your door via Amazon for £249 circa. Minus the USB hub which I get is a bonus!
I went in-store last week to ask if there was one available anywhere, was told is OOS nationwide

The model your referring to does not have any cable management under the desk and does not have any presets, so you always have to hold down the button to adjust the height every every time you want to adjust it

FLEXISPOT EC1 Height Adjustable Electric Standing Desk with Desktop,2-Stage Desk with Single Motor Heavy Duty Steel Stand up Desk for Home Office (White Desk+White Desktop) amazon.co.uk/dp/…9KT

It’s not as fancy as this one that’s been posted but it’s not the best or worst. And by no means a deal.

You’re welcomed.

With Costco you can return it after a Year if it starts to fail
I bought one of these a while ago (in black) and it's been superb. Pretty smooth mechanism, well amde and the USB power hub is very useful for recharginmg phone, headphones etc A very neat item, although not particularly large
Or buy a chair that adjusts.
Just gone one today from Farnborough Costco. They said they have plenty of stock.
I got one in Wembley, london today and they had more than 10 in stock.
A friend and myself got 1 each yesterday from Sunbury's Costco.
Stock in Sheffield Costco, just bought one and will assemble tomorrow but looks like you won't get a sit and stand desk as good as this for the price! Cheers @matwalaboy !
Looking at the dimensions it looks abit higher than I would like. How are people finding it when using it at its lowest sit position?

Its perfect for me, raised my chair up slightly to feel more comfortable. i was researching electronic adjustable desks for a few days and i didn't find a better deal than this. Also the draw is a massive plus, all the ones i came across didn't have a draw or USB ports

Your fine if using a proper office chair, if not an standard chair will likely seem low. If your of the shorter persuasion you might want a foot stool.

Ps it's a very solid unit even at full height

How easy is it to fit a ikea desktop could you get a large table top?

It’s pretty easy although most of the cheaper ikea desks aren’t solid so you cannot securely screw in every single screw. Only the screws where the legs would be are solid.

A large table top would work too providing it’s at least 3cm thick and better if it’s solid really.

I have a large table top desk I could use you see, which is a desk currently but the frame is broken .. would be great to switch to this -and just buy the frame

That would most definitely work.

The user assembly instructions can be found here:

flexispot.com/med…pdf

It is worth pointing out that the Flexispot is the cheapest option but is fairly basic in operation. The controls are manual up and down and there are no preset height settings.

There are another couple of company’s that sell the standing desk frame only which are:

autonomous.ai/sta…881

and

fully.com/en-…tml

They are more expensive but offer preset buttons, dual motors and hold a greater weight and can go higher/lower.

Thanks for your advice seems to be out of stock. I don’t mind not having preset ... will look at others
