I bought a screen protector (x2) for my 5800 off ebay last week and they were ****. They were the adhesive sort, didn't like the idea of using them, so ended up binning one and cutting up the other to use on a spare phone I had.

Nice price though on these ones, has anyone got a screen protector on their 5800? Notice any difference in the respsonse of the touchscreen?

I was only telling of my adventures on ebay this week, and as you will see by my second paragraph I did say "Nice price on these" and was only asking for any feedback people had with screen protectors on their 5800.

i love my 5800, and only just took the original protector off after 2 weeks. but the screen looks amazing without the protector. my advice is to remember not to put ur keys in the same pocket!

Don't suppose you have a link to the buyer/item you bought do you?I bought from uk-goods, and I guess they proved that buy cheap, buy twice!

The Martin Fields one looks pretty tasty, especially with the camera protector as well. I do find my fingers slip onto the camera when holding it

(although if backplates become readily available on ebay you won't have to worry too much about damaging it)

Yes this is item number is 270339964195

Cold from me. All screen protectors are not equal. The 3 -6 pack for a fiver types don't last long and scratch very easily, why else would they give you a load of spares. Also the cheaper ones for the 5800 (including well known brands like PDAir) are just squares to go over the screen itself and don't offer any protection around the keys or the top panel which is just as scratch prone as the screen area.
I'd go for Martin Fields every time - cost a bit more but last ages and cover the full front face to the last mm as well as the camera. Best UK suppliers are Mobilefun and Morpeth Mobiles.

Do the martin fields cover the light sensor? One more thing, i heard they scratch easily. Is this true
