TRIPLE QX 20L Snow Foam

TQX snow foam that can be applied through a pressure washer or foam gun. It covers the vehicle in a rich blanket of foam that clings to paintwork to gently loosen dirt and heavy soiling. Using a snow foam as a pre-wash can reduce the risk of scratches and swirls as it gently loosens dirt which is then rinsed off prior to shampooing. TQX Snow Foam is pH neutral so it will not remove any polish or wax you have previously applied.

Yep, it works a treat...

I've tried the triple qx stuff several times and have always been disappointed with the quality. The tfr was very weak. Weaker than the stuff I buy from the local superfactor even when overly diluted. The same with the iron dissolver. Just pay more and get something that is better that you'll actually use rather than have sat in your shed for years.
That’s a lot of foam for the money but is it any good is the big question, I pay a little more than that for 5l of Bilt Hamber but know it works extremely well

I have empty Demon Foam bottle and sprayer which can be refilled and reused with this forever. You could buy one branded one on offer and then just refill with this

or search on e bay
It's a personal choice. I've been using different variants of this for 20+ years and have regularly changed having found that you could be throwing good money away.............. Just saying
Any good?

Just pour it down the sink, what could possibly go wrong.
I would really appreciate it if someone would let me know the name of a good pressure washer and also the foam lance attachment ?
Cheers OP. Didn't know I needed any but ordered two! Saving money in the long run.
Anyone know what concentration this is? Or in other words how many ml do you need to use? Can't see on the website
I don't think I read the instructions properly.

Depends how much you want to spend? I purchased a very basic refurbished Nilfisk pressure washer for £30 seven years ago direct from the manufacturer after seeing a deal posted here. It is still going strong.

My order is ready to collect on Tuesday. my personal knowledge of ECP is that they reserve the item for you specifically until 2 days after the date on your order then it "goes back on the shelf"

‘Good’ - just stick with the Nilfisk brand and buy the highest model number your budget allows... you’ll not go far wrong.
Some even come with a snow foam bottle.

But, you can buy much better snow foam lances for Nilfisks. ‘Cleanyourcar’ used to sell them and most likely still do. You’ll need one with the ‘Nilfisk/Kew Alto’ fitting.

£35.37 from Amazon Warehouse four months ago and includes a foam bottle attachment.

hotukdeals.com/dea…395

Just to give you an idea of what is available at the cheap end of the market for a pressure washer. Depends on the use case scenario? I mainly just use it to wash my car and it is very ideal for that usage.
I’ve had a Nilfisk pressure washer with the snow foam attachment For a number of years. Got both from Amazon whilst on offer. Probably not the best set up but does the job.
If it helps.....

I purchased this snow lance:
amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1

I went through a lot of reviews and issues with the spray coming out watery etc..... with this one you can adjust to have a really thick foam that just sits on the car, or a little runnier to completely runny, so very flexible!
So anyone looking, I can highly recommend this.

My personal opinion of these however is its a waste of time.
Does it remove dirt - no.
Does it help lift dirt off, or eat into the dirt on the paintwork - no.

I know this is a pre wash - I've tried Autoglym snow foam thinking perhaps the brand would provide better results, but it doesnt. This does nothing more than wets your car, I dont believe for a minute it actually does what it claims. I've gone back to good old fashioned pressure wash the car then clean like normal.
The only time I can see this stuff could actually work (maybe) is if your car has recently got covered in mud and grit and you want to wash it down immediately, however a hose would do the same job. You could argue the foam would carry off the dirt perhaps........ maybe?.

Try Bilt Hamber Auto Foam. All I use is that (or Power Maxed TFR) followed by a good pressure rinse... no contact using a sponge or mitt, whatsoever. This time of year, the car ends up looking immaculately clean from arm's length. In the summer, it's really all you need.

PS. I use fairly high concentrations for a contactless wash... around 15-20% in my snow foam lance bottle.
