Very cheap for BMW LL01 - thanks!

Good oil, I use this in my taxi, never run smoother. 5w good for winter starts.
It's cheap enough to change frequently, as soon as the oil soots- with crap from the EGR,

Anyone know who makes it?

seems to show 5w30. 10w30, 15w40, 20w50 - So probably this is not for you. But i think theres another one which is £17.99 or £19.99 and that will do the job. You can also get a rough idea of which oil you need from castrol oil checker and mobil oil checker website.. Type that into google.

thanks pal

I've used this brand in the past no issues

Original Poster

I used it in a 55k miles 330d bmw which has no proof of service for the last 5 years and the engine runs a lot quieter now. Less tappy and much smoother. Well other oils probably will have the same effect too, but first time i ever used this brand and its done the job just fine.

good to deal with and product

Picked this up last time when it was available with the oil filter for the little Jazz, good deal

Would this be fine for Nissan Micra 2006 engine size 1.2?

dont know what car you have, but oil filters generally are £2-5

I usually get the 5W30 for my 2001 Toyota Corolla 1.4cc - will 5W40 be ok?

According to Google search it should be fine as I'm not doing high revs. Thanks OP bought x4 (plus oil filters) - two years worth of oil changes for £62 - that's £15.50 per change.

My garage charges £25 to do the oil change. I've been tempted to get the tools and do it myself though.

Anyone change their own oil or is it not worth it?

be careful how you approach 'branded' filters.

I have been using cheap filters with non return valves in all my cars (high performance older engines) for 9 years. Filters aren't generally the issue, poorly maintained, coked up engines with wrong oil are!

OK but there are only 2 oil filters available for my BMW, £9.50 & £10.50 respectively

that other poster was talking twaddle

Is this the correct viscosity and spec for a 2004 Renault Clio 172 Sport do you know?
