Doesn't work on all of them. I keep getting this:

The required product (521776091) is not in the basket to apply this promotion
Pretty decent oil it's what I put in my V6 Mondeo seems happy enough on it as you can't gear a thing idling it's very quiet

Yep same here. Doesn't apply the offer to triple qx pd engine oil....the slippery little bleeders.

If this isn't working for the 5w-40, I got 4 litres from a deal posted a couple days ago at halfords. Went via quidco for 5% back. Net cost was about£10.30. Also its comma oil which ive used for donkeys years, not knocking qx BTW, I just know I've had no issues with comma, ever. Voted this deal hot simply on price. Incredibly cheap @ less than £2 a litre.

Hi. Sorry but I can't find any 5w 40 pd engine oil for anywhere close to that price at Halfords. Any chance of a link please?

Thanks but like I thought, non of the ones on offer are suitable for the pd engine...... all of those which are, are over £40 for 4/5 litres.
??? It says 4l of 5-40 fully synthetic for £12 plus extra 10% off = £10.80. Just walk into halfords and pick it up for this price. This is the correct oil for pd engines.

Mmmm, that looks quality. oO
Seeing as oil prices have dropped by well over half in the past year, an offer such as this is long overdue.
In fact all motor oil prices everywhere should be dropping dramatically.

You are correct ScoobyZ, there only seems to be three oils in this offer and the one you want ain't in it. Sorry.

I'm sorry but I think you do not understand the meaning of oil specification and how to select the correct oil ( even a few garages struggle). What I need is this eurocarparts.com/mob…398 and the promotion doesn't apply.
If anyone wants to get a better understanding of oil specifications take a look here api.org/Cer…ies
Best post I have read on oil recently are here:

carbibles.com/eng…tml

And a post here:

talkford.com/com…ct/

I as a rule change every 6k miles or 6 months minimum on every car I have ever had, I use 5w 30 semi synthetic only, I use a variety of oil brand depending on prices and promotions, I have used Morrisons oil with near dyer consequences, but Triple QX, Castrol and Car Lube are the main brands I use. Never had any issues with any of them, although have experienced problems with Halfords branded oil.

When looking for oil, make sure that is says it is suitable for your particular engine.

The oil I use always says, Suitable for Ford diesel engines.
