Was looking for a grease to get rid off a terrible squeaks of my car doors and comparing with other lithium greases that one looks cheap and good as for the size. RRP is £6.84 but reduced to £4.39 + code SALE50 gives £2.94. CarParts4less has it for £3.84, the cheapest on eBay is just over £5, Amazon for £10. Click and collect and delivery for free. Handy stuff to have at home. Suitable for metal bits, not for plastic or rubber.

Description from the eurocarparts site:

Triple QX Lithium 2 Multi-Purpose Grease is a super quality high melting point lithium based grease which ensures smooth performance wherever greasing is required. It provides high resistance to oxidation and water washout in addition to allowing good shear stability. TQX Lithium 2 Multi-Purpose Grease is ideal for many automotive applications including the lubrication of vehicle chassis, wheel bearings, pump bearings, universal joints and other routine applications.

Best wishes in the New Year 2018

Good price but wouldn't you be better off with a spray grease so it penetrates into whatever is causing the squeak, assuming it's the hinges?

yeah hinges are completely dry but have tried WD40 and nothing
Wd40 will evaporate and dry out the hinge. Use a penetrating oil first to work into the hinge then maybe a silicone spray grease.
I have a tin of halfords spray grease, it comes out very thin and bubbles so it penetrates then evaporates into a decent grease.
If WD40 doesn't stop it then grease won't do a thing.

If WD40 temporarily stops it you can start looking at grease?

It might be to do with the screw securing the hinge to the car body being loose. This happened with my girlfriends car the other day so I removed the screw and used threadlock and screwed it back in....end of squeak
Is this the white stuff like Weldtite TF2 ?

WD40 isn't really a lube, just a water displacer. Even a 3 in 1 spray would be better

This will be a caramel colour usually.
Order now for delivery in 2019.

I ordered 4 bottles of screenwash on 11th December. So far, three weeks later only one bottle has been delivered. Their excuse was that they have to manually process each and every order by hand. Shambles of a company.
