Just been to b and q and was abouts to buy this triton Benito thermostatic shower for £90, however noticed screwfix have it in sale for just £69.99
B and q price matched and allowed me to have it for £69.99
Decent shower with decent reviews and the price won't cost the earth - will set us on for a few years before we get the bathroom all done.

Yes

There are others with better flow rate.

Electric shower packed in yesterday...I'll pick this up and see how it runs off the new combi.

Just a heads up, the electric shower will only have a cold feed, this is a thermo so will need hot and cold feed to it, you may have to run another pipe for the hot.

I bought one of these to replace a knackered Bristan: argos.co.uk/pro…391 - if you've already got the pipe work done it is a doddle to replace. I can testify to the high flow rate

Should be able to piggy back off the bath hot supply?

I'm going to try that too; I've used Speedfit before - what's the easiest way to "T" off existing hot supply?

Mine was a question too. Not sure if it will affect the pressure to the shower?

I bought this to replace a previous shower which had broken. The heat setting is easy to set or change and the simple on off button provides a great shower. If you like a gentle or hard shower it's easy to turn up or down the water flow. I am very pleased with this shower.

(With a combi) as long as nobody else is running hot water, it'll be fine. (And if your combi runs the CH you may need to check it is powerful enough for the job).

Good offer I paid more then that for a replacement ment thermostat for mine.Hot from me

Anyone know if these can be used as a kind of power shower by arranging for an electric pump to be added in somehow?

Thanks in advance.

Only if its gravity fed from a hot water tank especially if tank on the next floor or loft.
With a combi boiler no, mains in can be over 5 bar and after the combi heats it it will drop depending on temperature and max bar is 5 with this shower it would be borderline at times.
Fitted two combis and both supplied a really good shower and always go for a high output combi as will heat radiators quicker and have more powerful shower.

Are you taking the piss or bring serious? I get 1.4 bar from mains supply!!!

How can I tell what bar pressure I get in from mains supply? Don't think my pressure is great.

No, different companies, owned by Kingfisher UK Investments Limited

Clear don’t understand how companies or branding work. Next you will saying EE is the same company as BT, all because BT bought EE last year or Coca-Cola isn’t a company or brand considering that’s owned by Schweppes.
May be you need to google board of directors for every company you think are the same and see how many are identical.

Oh yes, for 70 quid?

Don't be a brand snob. Thus is a good shower and a great price for it.

It'll run just fine off a combination and if you have a storage cylinder and header in the loft arrangement then you can fit a power pump too.

I have this and run off a combi and works great!

B&Q policy is price match plus 10%, Hope you got the 10% nick1981

Nope - they don't do that against other Kingfisher brands:

Yes, they are - Kingfisher Group. I got a sof close toilet seat from Screwfix recently which was the exact same one as they sold in B&Q for twice the price. It even had B&Q packaging!

Yeah it’s cool, there’s a hot water pipe ready to feed through. Got it in place when the boiler was fitted cause I knew we’d switch once the electric one stopped working. Cheers.

Can you tell me more about this please? I got a new boiler recently and didn't get this. But I want to switch from an electric shower to mixer shower.
