****.

Better to stick to known brands when it comes to showers. Sony, bush, alba etc.

Nothing new here - these are always this price @ Screwfix.

The 9.5kw version is usually £60 too

We buy them for our rental properties

You're having a laugh right?

Got the 9.5kw version of these in my bathroom. Completely got rid of my preconceptions of electric showers, decently powerful and can get very hot if required!

Would definitely recommend, although if your not skilled in these it may be worthwhile getting someone to fit it...

the fact most houses have 6mm cable and anything above 8kw can cause a fire on said cable no im not taking the ****
also fact b and q sell fuseboard and cable which is just as bad

good point - an 8.5 KW shower may need 10mm cable, whereas an older say 7KW shower may have only needed 6mm cable. So anyone "Upgrading" should have it checked and if necessary re-wired by a certified sparkie (and it needs certificating). Defo not one for the home DIY.

If it's a new install you could save yourself a few quid by installing the cable yourself (after getting good advice what's needed) and leaving the sparkie to terminate the ends into the consumer unit and isolator etc.

That's cheaper than I paid to repair my Mira.

Mira is the best shower make on the market,

I had a rewire on my house 3 years ago, but I left the 6mm cable for the shower, the cable was running all the way around the house and over the guttering and through the attic etc. Annoys me though that I was cheapskate as I have limited options on which shower to get to replace the 20+ year old one. Anyway make sure you have 10mm cable

Plus matches and lighters - luckily the BBQ stuff is now mostly out of stock, though.

So you'd be an electrician who gets paid to install these things then?

You have a point, but there are plenty of bodge jobs done by so-called qualified electricians too.

No muppett, I'm not saying that at all!

What I am saying is that these Triton Showers are ALWAYS this price, it's the norm! - No Deal, No Special, just Normal Price!

OK?

Thanks for posting OP.

I needed a shower, I searched here. I found this deal.

I don't care if its this price every day of the year, it is cheap and functional, fulfilled my need and £50 for a shower has just gotta be a hot deal regardless.

Again, thanks.
