If you have the items and it is a straight swap then our plumber charges £70 to swap a shower unit and same price to swap a radiator

Why use a plumber if it's a straight swap?
£70?? Sod that!! A blind man on a galloping horse can fit this if it's just a straight swap! 150mm between centres by the way (the most important dimension and it's missing!)

Straight swap for both 70+ more problems 120+

Depending on the area obviously
These are crap. I got one and it keeps going from hot to cold. Also the red adjuster on the hot broke after a couple of uses.

The person I was replying to obviously doesn’t feel confident enough doing so. I don’t blame them either, it could be an electric shower they want replacing, water and 30 to 40 amps of electricity do not mix well if you’re unsure.

As for replacing a radiator, there are lots of people who wouldn’t have a clue how to drain the system first and refill it.

Well looking at the pics for this on the argos site, I hope if you're buying this you have a very good grip in the wet, as the controls have no finger grips.

if its electric shower, its not a straight swap and you didnt help with the price

as for the radiator - it looks like you dont have a clue as it wont require the system draining down to do a swap just isolate the radiator then drain that

Geeze someone asks a simple question, “How much to”.... I give a simple reply of how much our plumber charges and the place fills up with DIY know it alls.
To be fair, others are just offering a hot deal to the OP.
Paying nothing for replacement is the better deal.
