Easy 71p profit - just hang around with 1 of these in your trolley near trolley station and your guaranteed someone passes you a pound to save them getting a trolley

Theses are handy for when you don't have a pound coin... Or worse a pound in change!
Always been 29p in home bargains, picked one up the other day because they are now the new pound shape

Even better , look for abandoned trollies with a pound coin inside them . Many too rich or tired could not be bothered to return trolley and get their pound coin back. I have already made a few quid this way.

Thats not gonna happen often with the likes of home bargain shoppers to tight to leave a £1 lol some are to tight to spend a £1 !!
My old coin buddy still works at Home bargains and Asda, not sure why I need this.
At 29p this is around my threshold of whether I bother taking the trolley back. Might have to get a few!

Or use them in vending machines, parking meters etc instead of a real coin ;-)

it wont work in those as it has to be the correct weight to be accepted. It will only work on devices that don't measure the weight - ie trolleys in supermarkets.
We've been using these a while - although the "coin" itself is fine, the keyring attachment is pretty flimsy and tends to get bent from being bashed around with your other keys. Over time it no longer clips and you can lose the coin if you don't check/bend it back every once in a while.
Where abouts are they kept. Couldn't find in mine

If you ask at the counter in Lidl, they give you plastic tokens for free - though maybe it depends whether your store has any available.
